Who had they 'socialised' with? Mainly Jack and Olivia, but could she stand being in their presence the way she was?
But that wasn't her choice to make.
"Well, we have these friends, Jack and Olivia... I should probably warn you, though, they've got a really... odd sense of humour."

"It's disappearing on us," Lee said, looking at the clock. "Time. No students with that power?"

Madeleine followed his gaze up to the clock. "None that I know of," she said lightly. "But you're right, time does go too fast."
All of their months seemed to have gone by so quickly now. When you think that you have - not forever, but a very long time, it doesn't matter that time goes quickly.
But now, how much did she wish she had savoured every moment.
She glanced about the common room, noticing that everybody had gone back to their own conversations.
"It's getting late," she sighed, wanting to rise and go to her dorm, but her limbs wouldn't let her move.

Lee laughed weakly. "Oh, god. Yeah- dorms, right? That's the routine. Except..."
Gee, this was embarrassing.
"I don't know which dorm is mine."
Sure, he had the visual picture. But... well... all the dorms would probably look exactly the same!
