"Hmm. Not a clue, sorry," her brain wasn't really functioning anymore. She was to busy staring out over the forest and into Cardsdale. Easter, my final descison! "Jack..." she stopped, "Never mind,"

Jack turned his head downwards, to see the top of her head. "Jack what?" he nudged her.

Will's thoughts scattered as Jack nudged her and she zoned out completely. Have you ever had the sensation of looking at someone for the first time and ever so quickly the past and future seem to fuse? She took in a deep breath and let it out again. Will, present, now! Her attention snapped back and she was in the forest again. "Nothing, honestly. It doesn't matter anymore," she picked up a stick and threw it. She didn't want to say it now.

"Will," Jack growled; only a little jokingly. That was going to annoy him now- annoy him like hell, actually. When someone went to say something, then just stopped mid-sentence and said, "Never mind," was probably one of the most aggravating things in the world. His own personal pet hate, as a matter of fact.

Will snickered. "Aw, poor Jack, getting all frustrated just cause' I won't tell him what I've now forgotten!" her eyes were focused somewhere on the side of his head. Why did she do do things like that? Because it's fun! "So, what are you doing for easter?" she asked with no interest whatsoever. Her voice was perfect but her eye might give her away. So she moved her focus beyond Jack to the stream the lake was creating through the forest.

"Will, that's not fair," Jack frowned at her. "Come on, you've got to tell me. We'll make a deal. Anything you like. I just need to know what you were going to say." He turned to face her, but found her eyes glazed and unfocused, and for some reason... it frustrated him. Why were they unfocused? Why wouldn't she just speak properly- why couldn't she just tell him what she was actually thinking?! "Will, please?" There, look. She'd reduced him to begging. "Bitte?"

"Deal huh?" Will smiled evily, "You shouldn't have said that," she put her hand on his shoulder. "Nah, I won't. I do recall however that you promised that you would teach me how to dance properly though," she gazed into his perfect eyes. Oh the annoyance in them. She blinked a few times. Subconciously. "Well, what I was about to say was..." she had to think of what she actually was about to tell him and then it came back to her. Her cheeks flushed with embarassment, "I dunno if I actually want to tell you this. It's really embarrassing for me," she bit her bottom lip and looked away sheepishly.

Somewhere at the back of Jack's mind, little warning bells started swinging back and forth, but they were slow... faint... Far, far too faint for him to notice... Because her cheeks were glowing pink, her eyes were cast downwards, and she was chewing her lip... nervously? Excitedly? Spit it out, woman! "Just tell me," Jack urged her. "Please? It'll drive me insane until I know what you were gonna' say..."

"Oh, I don't know....." she started to panick a bit and her voice shook ever so slightly. She glanced up at his eyes again. And again she was zoning out. She shook herself back into reality and then she got up with her back to him and still her cheeks were flushed, she was biting her lip even harder and still kept her eyes trained on the earthy ground. "Well, I, I.....Jack.....I l-" she paused and chickened out, "You should run more often you know," She turned to face him. Yes, that was also quite an embarrassing thing to say for her too. Maybe not fair on him to chicken out like that but it was a very subtle hint for what she was going to say.

... oh. "That it?" Jack frowned, a little disbelieving. The warning bells shot up a toll; louder and more persistent. He'd made a deal with Will. Crap. Crap. Crap.

"Yes," No! She stared down at him. "Was there something you wanted me to say?" Yes! so very, very, very much so... "Something that you thought, I thought, which I hadn't thought, that you thought I thought?" Will felt the butterflies in her stomach start. No...go away you stupid sensation!

"No," Jack said quickly. "I don't know. It's just... I thought... maybe..." He'd assumed... "I thought it would've been more interesting, is all," he said, grudgingly.

Will chuckeled. Now that is interesting. "What, like you've got amazingly big muscles and you knock nearly every girl of their feet as you go by in the corridors and that you have secret admirers?" Like me. She gave a crooked smile and watched his reaction carefully.

"That's not interesting, either," he rolled his eyes. "Naw... that's just boring. I know it all, and have been told it all so many times..." Oh no, he didn't sound at all arrogant. He chuckled. "I'm just great, like that."
