Will was shaking so violently, or what she felt was violently that she barely felt Cass's arm slip through her or his or Cardo's voice's. All she could hear was the rain and the wind and that was it. The wind was roaring and she was starting to feel pain as her muscles kept constricting. As her teeth kept hitting of each other and her hair clund to her face. She wanted heat and although Cass was giving some off, it wasn't much because he had been out here too long to that he was losing heat too.
If Cass hadn't been holding her and if she had been able to move she would have- should have run inside when I had the chance. She wasn't aware of what was going on around her. Numbness had passed by and now it felt more like the pain of frostbite. She wanted to go inside badly and get into some dry clothes and warm up.
But she would have to wait for Cass to move, that way she could try to move with him. He also knew when they would move. She was a statue. She just stared straight ahead of her and saw a shadow..Cardo move and the door that lead to the stairwell which lead to the corridor opened and what came next made Will shiver even harder. A balst of hot air came gushing out of it, even though the wind was raging, it still managed to rach herself and Cass and although she usually loved the sensation, she hated it now. She was a block of ice. And as millions of images and thought rushed by in her head, she thawed just the tiniest of bits.
She tried to move her leg and foot and it worked. She felt joy coursing through her, though that was soon quelled by pain shooting through both. If Cass hadn't been there, holding her arm she probably would have fallen over. But he was and she didn't so all was good on that side of things. But not on the talking side of things as she tried to talk but nearly bit her tongue..well she might have and not have felt it but she didn't think she had..she'd no when they got inside. So instead she looked up and Cass and blinked twice for yes instead, to let him know that she wanted to go inside right now.
Let's go, let's go, before I actually do get frostbite. Please. Let's go, go, go! she tried to move her other leg and it worked but with the same result as the first time round. She was soo thankful that Cass was there to support her, That he had come up to the roof for his break to find her. That he had helped her. That he had phoned his friend Cardo to come and help her with him.
At the same time she felt incredibly guilty for spoiling his break. She was sure he really wanted a break from working and she had gone and spoilt it on him. She'd make it up to him sometime, somehow. To both of them. Cardo and Cass. They both deserved some sort of reward for all that they had done.
Whatever it would be she wouldn't let them say no. She'd force them to take the reward. I swear I will. You won't be allowed to turn it down guys.
