Dimitri wandered aimlessly through the caves. He had thought the battle had turned out quite well considering the losses and casualties. It was a good thing the Carers were so co-ordinated and ready and that the Warriors and Spies could fight so well and the Academics keeping contact with Jack to give him information about how the battle was going. All in all, things could have gone a lot worse. Kicking a stone along the floor he saw a ghost. Not just any ghost. But hers. His heart started to thump in his chest. How could she be here now? And why? "Amy?"

Tamika Dombrovski was not what you would call a girl who got bored easily. There was always something she would find to do to keep herself entertained, be it sports, art, crossovers. Today though, on this Sunday afternoon, she found herself bored and restless. She had tried reading, but the characters just weren't capturing her attention today. She tried drawing, but her imagination was at a complete standstill on this particular day. She didn't even bother attempting to help a spirit, as for some reason all she could find were angsty, dead enemies. She spent a good while trying to get one of her friends to hang out, no one could do it today. All of these reasons combined explained just why exactly Tamika had climbed up to the caves on the outskirts of Carsdale. She sat at the caves entrance, her legs pulled up to her chest and her chin resting on her knee. It was so peaceful up in the caves, that Tamika found it a shock to the system. Although it was almost too quiet for her, she didn't have the heart to put her iPod on for fear of ruining the environment. So she just sat there in silence, staring out over the forest and occasionally singing quietly to herself. A few minutes later, her serene surroundings were disturbed by the quiet 'thunk' of a stone being kicked and a voice asking 'Amy?'. She turned to look at the source of the voice, and noticed a familiar face. "Dimitri?" Tamika asked, puzzled. She recalled the whole Amy thing from when they first met, and hadn't liked it one bit, now she just hoped she wouldn't get the flashbacks again. "I'm not Amy," she sighed, staring back out over the forest.

Tamika. Damñ! Dimitri's eyes took on a glare at the back of her head. Why did she have to look soo damñ identical to his long lost fiancé?! Why?! He kicked the stone harder and it flew into the wall and lodged itself in it, like a bug in a rug all nice and snug. He glared at this to. Since when had he started to think like a freaking girl to?! Argh! This is so freakin' annoying! Tamika and her precious identical self to Amy. The bit-no, Dimitri, it's not her fault. "How are you?" he sighed inwardly and went to the edge of the cliff and looked out all over Cardsdale and Orchid and wondered how it had all come to be. Part of the forest was still charcoal and looked absolutely revolting with nice lush green on the other half. Jack did what he had to do in order to protect everyone in the grounds and grounds itself. The Carers' head was not at all pleased about it but she couldn't do anything apart from fume and get over it. He chuckled at her furious face.

Tamika glanced out in the direction of Dimitri going over to the edge of the cliff and had to bite her lip to prevent herself from saying something rude and him ruining her peace, and she wasn't sure if the pair of them were even on good terms yet considering their less than friendly first meeting. Well, that's a lie, there were pleasant bits of the conversation, just not very many... "I'm fine thank you, if not a tad bored. And yourself?" She replied. She tried to decide in her head if she was genuinely interested in his well-being or if it was just routine politeness. Of course, it didn't really matter either way, but it wasted a few minutes to think about it. She let go of her legs from her chest and stretched them out in front of her, resisting the urge to giggle at the pins and needles tickling her. Looking up at Dimitri again, she decided to be polite and converse, "So what brings you up here today?"

"Boredom. Ans I was just doing some healthy exploration. Heh, and may I return your question?" he smiled warmly at her and rolled his eyes. Small talk......god. "Tamika? What are your powers again? Sorry, I know you've told me but I can't seem to remember and it might help me understand something," he bit his lip for a mere second before looking out back over the area. It really was one of the most beautiful places he had ever seen and would ever see and it was becomingone of his favourites.

Tamika caught out of the side of her eye Dimitri rolling his eyes. She resisted the urge to roll her own and simply gave a quiet, irritated sigh. If he didn't want to be involved in a mindless conversation, then why not just be quiet? I'll never understand men... She thought, before giving him a reply. "I couldn't concentrate on doing anything else today, and the schoolgrounds are full on angsty ghosts," she told him. She rolled her ankles to see if they had now returned to normal feeling, and when she realised they had, Tamika pulled them up beneath her to sit indian style. As Tamika fiddled with the stray strings on the sleeve of her 'CKY' hoodie, she heard Dimitri ask her another question. Glancing back up at him, she hesitated for a second as to why he wanted to know/what he wanted to understand about her gifts, before she told him. "I can control fire, I'm a psychic medium and I have the Shining..." She told him, an eyebrow raised in interest. She was hoping that he would share with her what he was pondering, for she didn't really want to out and ask him.

"I can control fire, I'm a psychic medium and I have the Shining..." she answered. She looked at him expectantly waiting for the reason behind her question. A fire manipulator and starter...only her short fused temper could have any relation to that. Psychic medium...she was a very free spirit and loved the outdoors...asociated to Tamika by her being in the Carers. The Shining...well she could read people well but that has no correlation what so ever..... sighing he frowned. There was absolutely nothing that would explain it. "Sorry, I was just wanting to find why you look so d**n like her. Where the connection is." he explained, "But failing in the most extreme epic way ever." He mosied on over to her and flung himself down beside her.

Tamika continued to watch Dimitri, searching for any signs of reason in his features as he pondered her gifts. He gave no distinct reaction, more of a thoughtful expression. When he finally replied, she felt the atmosphere get all of a sudden awkward. Well, it felt that way to her. "Oh," she said simply, not giving a positive nor negative reaction to what he had been thinking about. Of course, the subject had crossed Tamika's mind more times than she would ever like to admit to. And a couple of times, she had experienced dreams about herself and Dimitri, but not in present time. It was a long ago. The 1700's, Tamika would hazard a guess at. She was brought out of her own thoughts by Dimitri sitting down beside her. She opened her mouth ever so slighting to speak and let him know about the dreams, but really couldn't be bothered with him taking a b*tch fit like he had in their first encounter. She leant forward and rested her elbows on her knee's, in turn resting her chin on her hands. Tamika had dearly hoped that Dimitri would just say cheerio and be on his way, letting her be back on her own. She glanced round at him and sighed, racking her mind for a conversation topic because she quite frankly wasn't going to let her solitude go without trying to annoy Dimitri away first. "So are you currently in ghost form or solid?"

Hmm. Good question actually. He set his hand on the ground. It didn't sink through. "Corporeal," he smiled as he answered her question, "So is the Shining annoying you?" he asked deciding to find out more about her powers and what she liked about them. The more info he had of her the better he could make the connection he was starting to desperately figure out. It freaked him out. Probably freaks her out a bit to. And annoys her. his smile widened and he shook his head at that.

Tamika raised an eyebrow at Dimitri and shifted herself so she could properly look at him without having to turn her head all the time. His question was interesting to her. No one had asked her that before so she had never really had to think about whether or not that power was an irritation to her. She mulled it over for a minute or two and then eventually replied with a quiet, "No." The way she answered left it open that she was going to go on with the answer once words came to mind. "It doesn't irritate me. It scares me... Scares the living hell out of me most of the time. Everything about it..." Softly, Tamika bit her lip and stared at the ground below her knee. She couldn't recall being that honest about her feelings towards the power with anyone before. And of all people it had to be Dimitri, she grumbled in her head. Not wanting to seem like she was a softie all of a sudden, Tamika went on the defensive and with a suspicious look said, "Why do you ask?"

"No reason really," he quipped. He laid on his back and started to hum very quietly. I'll always love you but you have to let me go...I'll see you again one way or another, I'll never leave you.. Dimitri bolted up. Amy?! Amy?! It had been her...her dying words. He looked over to Tamika who was irritated with him being there. Do you want me to leave you alone Tamika, or can I stay? he asked her via mind.

Tamika nodded in acknowledgement at his response and the pair were once again in silence. For some odd reason, she began to think about the work she had to get done for class in the next couple of days. She had a couple of pieces due for art, and some english assignments. Other than that, she couldn't think of anything of anything, which was rather good, because then it left more time for dangerous fun with Joshua. She yawned quietly and rolled up the sleeves of her hoodie, trying to get air to wake her up a little. Tamika squinted at a distant field she could see. There was either a ghost or a person roaming about. She wandered if it was a student, or if she could recall any spirits from that area. During her pondering, Dimitri's voice popped into her head. D'amnit, I've been roused, she thought to herself. She felt a little bad now that he had asked the question, for she didn't exactly want to say, 'yeah, bugger off you pain'. "Stay if you want to dude, I don't mind," she replied. "So... Do you take classes here or do you just potter about during the day?"

Dimitri had a hard time trying not to laugh. Tamika was one of those girls who just made people laugh un-intentionally. He wondered if she'd already forgotten he could read minds. "Okie dokie," he replied. "So... Do you take classes here or do you just potter about during the day?" He sat up and looked at her, "Depends what you mean by take...if you mean take the students and teach them; yes. If you mean do I sit with them and write notes and such; sometimes. All the other times..yes I potter about the grounds...." she moved up one point for using the word potter. He smiled again and shook his head. Just like Amy in a less sophisticated way.

Tamika, for some unGodly reason, found herself genuinely interested when Dimitri mentioned that he taught classes. She wondered what one earth it could be that he taught other students, and so asked, "Really? What classes do you teach?" She rolled her sleeves down again for something to fiddle with, plus she was a little chilly now. She stared at her shoes, noting that the ends of the laces were fraying and would need to be replaced soon. "So... Uh..." Tamika started, unsure of how to go about another conversation. She was pretty clueless about what to talk about now, and in her head she was currently in some random village in an uber old dress... Kneading bread...

"History, telepathy, art and music." he smiled. Her thoughts were quite funny at times. He couldn't help but smile and laugh a little, "It's quite fun actually. I enjoy it." They sat in silence for about five minutes. Comfortable silence..well to him before Tamika saw herself as Amy kneading bread as she used to do. It was so hard to just sit still, "Amy...." he said out loud painfully. Tears were threatening to start stinging his eyes but he didn't allow them to. "Tamika, you definately have some connection to her and I'm going to find out what that is."
