"That's awesome, dude! You could end up covering my art classes one of these days," she grinned. Now that he was cheerful, Tamika found her mood being rather uplifted too. Plus, she really did think it could be rad if Dimitri was her teacher for a few periods. At least then she would have someone to natter to instead of staring into space like a big loner. When Dimitri gave a small cry of 'Amy', she felt immediately guilty. "Dimitri, I'm so sorry! I forgot you would see that, but I didn't know I was going to get the vision..." By force of habit from what she did with all her other friends, Tamika reached over and gave Dimitri a small hug, then pulled away from it in case he thought it was weird. She smirked when he claimed he was going to find out what the connection is. "Please do, it's too weird seeing what she used to do and stuff...

"I could...maybe'll ask to. And it's fine, really, it's nice to see her again. And I'll try my best but there's nothing so far. Tell me a bit about your family. Where do they come from? Where did they come from? What're they're names...you know, the history." he shrugged and smiled. It'd keep her talking for a while but it also meant he might find links which is what they both wanted, "Sorry for the talking you might have to do but if it helps then I guess it'll be good,"

Tamika's face dropped whenever Dimitri asked her to speak about her family. Of all the subjects he could have picked, it would be her least favorite. "It's alright," she muttered, reminding herself talking about them would be for the greater good. "Well, uh, my mama is called Joselie. She got pregnant with me when she was really young by my aunts husband, Feliks. So Feliks raised me because my aunt, Anastacia, died when was born, but I thought she was my mother rather than my aunt. My grandmother and grandfather on my fathers side are Igor and Vera Rotter, they moved up to Russia from Czech back in the early 1900's. My grandmother and grandfather on my mothers side are Sergey and Agnesa Dombrovski. That side of the family has lived in Russian longer than the family can recall. They lived in Arkhangelsk for a lot of years, but Sergey and Agnesa moved down to St. Petersberg when my mother and aunt were teenagers." Tamika now felt awkward having told him the family history that she knew of for some reason. She never normally went into detail when talking about them. She bit her lip and then asked Dimitri, "Anything there helpful?

"Mmm, not really, if I'm to be honest but it's alright." he could always get information on her later that dated back to before she was born if he felt like it, "So, can I see some of your art or is that being to intrusive?" He geuinely wanted to see her artwork and see if it was worth to take her class. If she didn't need it then there'd be no point in him covering her, as that would only lead to being a distraction.

For a second, Tamika wondered why on earth Dimitri would want to see any of her drawings, but she didn't bother ask why, and instead just patted down her pockets. Usually, she would have one of her moleskin notebooks on her half filled. After a second, it would seem like today was no different. She pulled out the small book from her pocket and handed it over to Dimitri. It probably wasn't her best work, and she probably had written something about him - as she tended to do about everyone in her notebook drawings - but she was thankful that she never put names with quotes. "Knock yourself out, dude," she mumbled, staring at the sky again.

Smirking, "I hope you don't mean that literally?" he flipped through the notepad and noticed how random the drawings were. They also seem to fit her mood or whatever she's thinking when she draws them. And this makes me feel like I'm her stalker..hmm. He handed her notebook/doodlepad back to her. "So, looking forward to anything?"

Tamika smiled and let out a little, choked laugh. "If you could find a way to knock yourself out with that book, I think I'd be pretty intrigued to see it," she joked. Of course, she didn't really want Dimitri to knock himself out, even for her sick intrigue. She couldn't be bothered to do any form of Carer duty today. She took the notebook back from Dimitri and returned it to her pocket. When he asked her if she was looking forward to anything, for once Tamika had a positive answer straight off the bat. "Yeah, actually. My little brother's coming to the school in a while. Should be fun times."

So she had a baby brother? Interesting.. He smiled at her and nodded,"A little brother eh? Amy had one and an older sister. They were all so close until that fateful day...and we all got along so well but...anyway, what's your brothers name? How old is he? What're his powers?" And I'm now starting to feel like some kind of pedo...or stalker or both. Great.. he sighed and frowned but looked back up at Tamika for he had looked away while asking her the questions about her brother. She really did look a lot like Amy. It was quite unnerving. Same brown hair. Same length. Same cheek bones. Mostly everything was either identical or very similar.

Tamika feigned interest in Dimitri telling her about Amy's siblings. It wasn't that she didn't care about what he had to say about his dead love, but the less she knew the best, because other information would just give her more information about Amy that she didn't want from the spirit world. Still, she now felt kind of bad. Obviously it helped him to talk about it and she was sitting being self-centered. "What were there names?" She asked politely. She frowned at his response. She was kind of unsure about what age her brother is. No one had told her if he had aged again or anything so she had no updated information. "My brothers name is Mikhail. I'm not really sure how old he is, last time I heard he was fifteen, but aging is one of his gifts. He was only a little kid last year. He had the shining like me too apparently. And an ed-i... Eidetic memory, yeah that's it..." It seemed like a pretty good subject to stick with, so Tamika decided to ask Dimitri about his family. "Do or did you have any brothers or sisters?"

Dimitri nodded in response to her talking about her brother. Mikhail's powers, although not seemingly exciting or useful, Dimitri knew would come in extreme handy-ness in the future. Many people under-estimated powers like that, which, to Dimitiri, was totally and utterly stupid. "Do or did you have any brothers or sisters?" Dimitiri stared off into the distance as he answered her, "Yes, I did. I had a sister, who had a beautiful baby boy but died of fever after the birth. Her husband was a very gentle caring man and the boy grew up to be a very wealthy, kind hearted gentleman." he sighed inwardly at the memory. His sister, Annabelle, had been one of the sweetest souls he'd ever had the fortune to know. It was quite painful to think about her. He still wished she was alive, that they had had the medicine back then and the fact that she had died to something so ridiculous and he got to live forever was not a comforting fact. "It seems so ridiculous to me now, that she had died of fever. It's just soo...stupid to say the least but then again, medcine wasn't up to the standards they are now. Anyway, what's past is past and can't be undone," he sighed outwardly and sat back down beside Tamika.

Tamika had a blank stare as she watched Dimitri talk about his sister. She was officially creeped out. "Dude... That's pretty weird..." The girl trailed off and thought for a moment, and then realised she'd have to speak again or she would be insulting his dead sister. That would totally earn her a black eye. "My aunt, Anastacia... When I was a baby she died of pneumonia, and I thought it had been because I was born. That was when I thought she was my mother..." Okay, so it wasn't all that alike, but the principle was still there and the back story, that made her think it odd. "Always does seem stupid, thinking back man. Shame your sister didn't have any carers around then, could have ended up a lot better..." That really wasn't the best thing to say; it would probably worsen the situation if Dimitri was emotional thinking about it. Tamika really needed empathy lessons. You never know, man. She could have been around you all through your life. It's surprising how many people are Old Souls without even realising." That could have been helpful, right? Hey Dee, chances are your sister's been with you all along, fancy that! 'Totally unhelpful,' Tamika sighed in her head and rolled her eyes at herself. When he sat down beside her, Tamika put her head on his shoulder without even thinking about it. "So did your nephew have any gifts?" She asked. It was only when Tamika went to reach for his hand that she caught on who she was with. Her head jerked up and she pulled her legs up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them.
