"Rather a lot." Meh! Isolde stared at her head. That must mean that there was more than she would've imagined there to be. "O....k..." Isolde said slowly. This was gonna be like a nightmare. She would make a fool of herself in front of everybody! What would they think of her? Meh?!?!?!

Madeleine smiled kindly at the look on Isolde's face, still rubbing her ring finger gently in self-consciousness, for some reason. "Don't look so nervous," she said softly. "You'll be fine."

Gulp! "Yeah, I guess you're right...is there that much to catch up on though?" Of course there was, what kind of a stupid question is that?! "Nevermind that actually," she quickly recovered, "This sounds like it's going to be fun...as well as serious," and a smile cracked. She was smiling for the first time that day. "I'm looking forward to your teachings," she nodded.

Madeleine laughed at that. "Really? I think you'd better revise that opinion; I am not that brilliant a teacher, honestly!" There was an interesting question, though. What did her Warriors think of her teaching skills? She wasn't... the best. Good enough, maybe... but... not really the most fantastic instructress at... well... anything!

"Oh, I'm sure your wonderful," Isolde smiled but looked at the fire. Madeleine looked like she was a born leader. Isolde was sure she taught brilliantly. She just wasn't sure if she could do some of the stuff she'd be shown in the coming weeks.

"Yeah, sure," Madeleine muttered. Whatever she was, she was pretty sure that "wonderful" was not the right word for it. After all, while she hadn't lost a battle, Madeleine made screw-ups, just like the next person. Accidents that she shouldn't make, no matter what Jude told her.

"I am," Isolde assured her thought she wasn't sure of herself. "I bet anything that Aries would be in Warriors too and Satine might be in the Spies or Academics....." she looked up to see her Head staring at her, "They're my older and younger sisters," She missed them and she was not very happy that they didn'nt believe they had powers too like her. They were just too stubborn to believe her. They'll notice someday....and they'll thank me when they do!

"They're pretty names," Madeleine commented. Naming... the naming process was something that Madeleine had heard Shaun and Cecelia talk about. They had been planning to have children quite soon after the wedding... and they would have been good parents. Shaun would have been a brilliant dad because... because. That's just they way he was. It was his sense of humour, his protectiveness, his just general manner of being... and Cecelia was just the most motherly person ever. Soft and sweet, she often looked after kids at playgroups and things like that. And they both wanted a family. About a month before Shaun's death, Madeleine had come across the two of them lying on the ground outside, Cecelia holding a baby name book open and Shaun casually pointing out a couple of things in the book. It was a sweet image, and Madeleine had quickly taken a picture of it; a picture that was now beside her bed. Of course, that had alerted them that she was there, and Cecelia called her over, asking her what she thought of the name "Lucy". That was the name they both liked for a girl, Lucy Catherine Baudelaire. For a boy, it was Rhys Samuel Baudelaire. Thinking about it, Madeleine felt a rush of regret and grief, still fresh even now, not only for her brother and almost sister-in-law, but the children that they never got to have, her nieces and nephews - the uncle, aunt and cousins that her children would never know.

"Me mam is a bit crazy when it comes to names," she said slightly embarresed. "Satine loves her name....but I suspect that's only because of Moulin Rouge," she gave a slight smile. She remebered when Satine had first watched that movie, it took her all night to shut up and fell asleep to Isolde's and Aries relief. That was another thing she liked about this place, she had her own room....for now at least.

Madeleine laughed. "Well, I suppose it's as good a thing to share your name with as anything else! After all, I share my name with a type of cake that looks like a shell. So, y'know, Moulin Rouge is pretty cool." She'd watched that film with her mum and Cecelia once... both Rhiannon and Cecelia had cried at the end. Sheesh. As she'd pointed out at the time - it was just a film. A film. It wasn't real. And of course, both Isolde and Aries had pretty interesting things to share names with - Aries, the constellation and star sign, and Isolde, from the Arthurian stories. More interesting than a cake, anyway.

"I don't really like the movie but the dancing is brilliant. And I think being named after a cake is pretty cool," Isolde had wondered about things like names and their meanings and how people had made them up. But it was true her parents had a weird sense fo humor when it came to names. "I think I was actually named after the movie Tristan and Isolde but my muim swears she didn't." Isolde rolled her eyes and everytime her dad was in the room with them when Isolde had brought up and her mum did say that he always raised his eyebrows. Which either meant he thought or knew that she did that.
