"...You're good....but...I'll...beat...you!" Jason panted as he dodged another fireball. Will was sweating with the heat of the room. "Control, you're urge to win...you'll loose otherwise," she breathed in and out. "You wanna bet?" Jason now had whips of fire lashing out at Will in every direction. "Why would I want to bet?" Will snorted as she dodged them. "I'll beat you!" he shouted. He ran head on, a human torch...crash and burn. Will had put her foot out to the side at the last minute and he tripped. She then whipped out with her own fire and he went down. "Good Will, very well done, now and earth weilder please?" Prof. Thandor called out.

Misa had watched the display in awe. She had never seen element fighting element. The girl had used a dirty trick at the end, tripping him like that, but then again this was war - little was fair. Sure enough after his trip, the boy, Jason fell fast and their professor was asking for a new opponent for the girl. An Earth Weilder. Her. Misa took a few moments pause before ever so slowly raising her hand. Surely she couldn't be the only earth elementalist out there...
"Yes, and your name is?" Professor Thandor asked beckoning Misa forward.
"Misa." She responded softly, concentrating more on finding her centre and core connection as she moved into the ring in the middle of the room. She stood facing the Fire Elementalist, Will, and she felt that familiar pulse. She was ready. Although Misa didn't know it her eyes changed from the black/brown they'd been all morning to palest silver.

Will watched the earth weilder take her stance. She had recovered from the other battle quite quickly thanks to her self healing. "Ok, Misa, give me all you've got!" Will spoke softly but dangerously. Misa's eyes had gone from a dark brown to silver. Oh dear! She's connected with the earth... Will studied the girls body language for any telll tail signs.

"Ok, Misa, give me all you've got."
"Lesson one, Will. Silence is a virtue." Without a flicker Misa threw up the ground beneath Will's feet and the other girl soared into the air, a look of slight shock on her face. Misa had been training a long time. She could use the earth without any outer movement if she thought carefully enough.
It was slightly less in strength, but the added surprise was worth it. The column of granite stopped as Misa blinked and bound Will's ankles into the stong stone.

Will led the girl on to make sure she was trapped. "It is yes, but don't underestimate me..." Will spoke barely above a whisper. Her arms were surrounded with fire now and had become whips again. She lashed out and hit Misa on the face. Her body went into over heat and the stone that held her feet to the ground caracked and crumbled. "Heat makes the stone expand," without warning she shot lightning at Misa. She had moved. Will was soaring into the air again. "Nice try, not falling for it again," Will did a sommer sault and was speeding towards the ground. Without warning she started to spin extremely fast and now there were many fire tornados in the arena...and they were starting to surround Misa.

Misa with a slight flick of both hands lifted a sheild of stone encircling around herself, protecting her from the flames.
"Lesson two. Use as little energy as possible - you'll only overexert yourself with all this gymnastics." Misa spoke calmly as she listened to Will's heavy breathing on the other side of her barricade.
Without warning she pushed her sheild outwards in all directions and it demolished all Will's tornadoes in one motion which had Will leaping once more to stop herself getting bowled over.
Before the stone had sunk back into the floor Misa sent a ripple through the floor that caught Will just as she touched down. Will felt flat backwards.

"That's all very well, but I do listen. I don't overexert and I have plenty of energy," Will countered again and was quickly on her feet. Misa was well versed in her power of earth. Will could see this but she still didn't know how to get around her earth. Suddenly boulders were flying past her and the ground started to tremble. "Haha, now we're having fun!" Will laughed and started punching and kicking the air, blasting apart the boulders and some hit Misa. Shards of rocks were flying all over the place and they hit Will full force causing a lot of stinging. She was on an unfair battle ground. Earth always beat fire all the time. Very rarely did fire beat earth. As Misa sent out more slabs of rock towards her Will jumped into the air and went sommersaulting over Misa's head and before she knew it, Will had sent a full blast of lightning and fire at her. She was on the ground. "Lesson four, always watch you opponents. You never no where they might turn up," Will landed softly on the ground. This is going to be a fun round!

Misa smirked inwardly, although her outer mask was perfected to the grimace of pain she knew their audience would be expecting. Misa almost felt sorry for Will. Almost. She actually believed she had Misa. She didn't really stand a chance. There was a reason sand was used to smoother flames.
In reality what she was striking was a layer of fine ionic dust Misa had pulled up around herself. An invisible shield.
After waiting a convincing few seconds Misa hopped lightly to her feet, spinning to face Will once more. The look of surprise on her opponent's face was oddly satisfying.
"Lesson three Will, don't skip lessons-you don't know what you'll miss." And with that she started a barrage attack, pulling up a shoulder high pillar of stone before her and skimming the discs off in Will's direction, forcing the fire weilder back.

Well this was incredibly annoying. Dman you Misa!, Will thought as she kept doging the disc. She had swiched to defence again. Well at least there was one good thing to come out of the work they had done in here. She had become more agile and more quick in her steps. Know your body, know yourself! Know your body, know yourself! Know your... She kept repeating this.
As soon as the pillar was gone, Will sent out an explosion, using her molecular combustion power with her fire. Whatever she didm Misa was always ready for her. Wait and listen. Wait and listen. Wait.. "...and listen!" Will barely made a sound, she stopped her attacks and did nothing. She just stood and waited.

Misa paused in her attack as Will also froze. She had been waiting for this moment. Will knew her first strategium was failing, this was her back up plan. Well Misa could wait just as long as Will needed.
It was a sign of a fire weilder that they were impatient - 'firey' by nature. The earth empowered, such as she, were much more ready and willing to be patient in order to achieve their goal. Clearly Will hadn't been taught the disadvantages or advantages that could be taken by the other element holders, only the ones relative to herself. She was never going to get far like that.

Stay calm, focus your energy, don't let her gain the upper hand! Will kept repeating this over and over to herself. She was going to stand and wait until Misa made a move first. Fire weilder's were known for their impatience and Will was very impatient at times, but not this time. This time was going to be different. She was up against the strongest opponent yet. No offence to Madeleine. Come on and attack. Cause' I ain't moving.

Ah ha, so this was her plan. To sit it out? WWI in miniature?
well that was a little too easy and it wasn't going to get either of them anywhere. Misa refused to be the Allies or Germany. She was going to be America- she was going to end this.
But, she needed Britain first. She needed a diversion.
Without a single movement she threw up a wall straight down the centre of the room. silently she sent a wave to the left, one to the right and another directly forward. Just enough movement in each direction to be sure Will would see them. As she did this, she moved discreetly into a new position in one of the directions she had sent the waves. Then she threw up six towers, enclosing herself within one and sending the tube in which she was enclosed into the floor dropping the wall.
The actions took less than a few seconds and Will now had no clue as to where her opponent was.

Will was now in shock, amazement, angry, confused and impressed. The ordeal took no longer than a few seconds and yet her opponent had vanished. "What?"

Misa waited beneath the ground for Will to make her next move. After that it was easy. All Misa had to know first was which tower Will would go for first. After that...simple.
She pressed a hand against the roof of her chamber, feeling for the vibrations of Will's footsteps.

Will looked at the towers of rock in the arena. She could be one of those. Will was about to move put then stopped. Instead she just used her hands and threw fireballs at all of them and then put the whole arena up in flames.
