"15," Mike replied, with a definite glum note. "I've nearly got wrinkles."
"Watch it, you," Kira grinned. "I'm 15. An older 15 year old."
"You wouldn't expect it though," Mike mused, looking her up and down. "You don't exactly look old for your age."
"Thanks...?"

"Thanks...?" Kira trailed off.
"Hey, she's not that bad. With the right amount of make up and what not, she could pass for a 16 year old....just," she recieved a thump on the arm as she noted this.
"What? I was being truthful," Will looked over to Mike who was sniggering.
"I think you better watch what you say," he mentioned.
"Ya think?!" Will was rubbing her arm, "You and Lee can throw good punches!"

"You ain't seen nothing yet, Will," Jack boasted, tensing his bulging biceps and flexing his arms with a little bit more flourish than necessary.
Kira pulled a face at her own skinny arms. Then, she got a shock. The fact was, she wasn't the skinny little thing she had be. This Spies stuff was rubbing off on her. She could see definite muscles forming now- and was actually impressed as hell with herself.

Will eyed the musces.
"Uh huh, they're nice you can put them away now," Will was reminded of her dad when he used to work out.
Jack's face fell when she said this.
"Sorry, it's just when you do that it reminds me off my dad when he used to work out.."

"Jack," Kira giggled, catching his arms. "Really. That's going to far."
"Sorry," he grinned cheekily back at her.

A book from near by came speeding up and hit Jack hard on the back of the head.
Will smiled into herself. Deserves him right!
She looked up to the window and saw her theastrel with Anton's Dire Wolf, Jerrico.
"Will?" Jack's voice sounded. She kept her eyes on the animals. A hand passed in front of her waving up and down.
"Will?"
"Hmm, what?" her eyes focusing on her surroundings again.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, sure..I'm fine!" she looked back out and they were gone.

The frown of concern remained on Jack's face, but he didn't pursue it.
Mike, however, did.
"What were you looking at?" he asked keenly.

Will sat there in her own world.
"Oh, I just saw...nothing, it's not very interesting," Will closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She felt tears coming on but she surpressed them.
"So, what did you two dress up as for halloween, I didn't see you?" she asked Jack and Mike.

"No, really, what did you see?"
"Mike, cut it out," Jack reprimanded him sharply. "I was a puck victim. He was a wizard."
"I'm just curious," muttered Mike darkly. "It's like when Kira drifts off into space."
"You have no right to ask me what I'm thinking about," Kira informed him dreamily. "It's very rude. And very annoying."
Mike grinned sheepishly. "Nosy by nature."

Will smiled at Jack to show her appreciation and mouthed Thanks to him.
"Yeah, well you better watch out, or you never know what might happen to the nosey nose of yours!" Will said half joking, half seriously.
"I'll be back," she got up and took her books up to the librarian.
"Hi, I'd like to get these out please?"
"Give them here!" she snapped while giving Will a nasty look.
"Thanks,"
"There. Now when you go back over there tell the rest of your friends to keep it down, this is your last warning before I throw you out,"
"Right," Will turned around and raised an eyebrow, "Is she one nasty piece of work, or what?!"

Jack winced, and Kira groaned loudly. The wizened librarian stood directly behind Will, her nostril's flaring.
"Oh, really?" the librarian hissed icily. "Speak up, my dear. I think there are some villagers over in the estates who didn't quite catch that."
Before any of them really knew what was happening, all four had been kicked out into the hall, and the library door was slamming shut behind them.

"Away from here," Jack grumbled, looking back at the shut library doors. "Heck, take me flying across Glass Lake in a hot air balloon. I'm in the mood for flying."
Kira raised an eyebrow, but decided not to pursue it.
There were certain things you just learned to accept about Jack.
Hopefully, Will would accept them too. Kira loved it when her friends were all friends with each other. It made party-planning so much easier.
