It was Friday afternoon. Tamika decided it was finally time to head to the library and do some homework. Possibly pick up a few good books to read at the weekend and cheer her up. Walking down the hallway she expected it to be like any normal small library, but as usual with this place, she was wrong. As she pushed open the door her mouth dropped in shock. It was huge! She stepped inside and began to walk up an aisle on a mission to search the library for Physics books. By some lucky twist of fate, she found the science section quite quickly. She looked through them and found the row of Physics books, which had a couple of textbooks on speed and distance. Just what she needed. "This is going oddly well... I never have this much luck," she thought. She took a couple and went to the table area, looking for somewhere to sit and begin her work. Alas, the place was packed with annoying first years giggling and throwing paper at each other. Generally not taking the library seriously. She rolled her eyes and spotted a table with spare seats, as she looked more she noticed a girl sitting there. The girl looked about her age and more sane than the excuse for humans taking up everywhere else. Building up confidence she decided to go over. "Excuse me, do you mind if I sit here? There is no other tables..." She asked, clutching the textbooks to her chest.

Macy glanced up from her copy of 101 Cures for Phurwit's Bites. She had just gotten down to #47, treating it with nail polish remover. "Um, yeah, sure." She picked up her bag, and japped Gypsy, who was curled up in her usual form of a cat. Gypsy let out a loud meow, gave Macy and the girl a very dirty look, and walked to another seat near by and sat down. Macy looked at the book the girl was holding. "Oh, I read that one. Chpater 12 is good, it goes on about the Speical Theory of Relitivity, but in not enough detail for me, I might say. You should Read The Universe in a Nutshell by Steven Hawkings, it's so interesting." She realised that she was jabbering on, and probably making the girl a bit scared by her geekiness. "I'm, eh, Macy." She said, almost trying to pretend she was normally that geeky. Actually, she didn't really need to pretend.

Tamika smiled a thanks and sat down. "Sounds like a good book, I think my aunt has a copy of it back home, but I was never really got around to reading it... Oh, I'm Tamika." She set her books on the desk and began lifting a notebook and pens out of her bag. "So you're in to science then?" Tamika enquired as she ruled a new page.

Macy nodded, smiling. "Yeah, I'm in Academics...well, head of the Academics, actually. I am the queen geek of them all!" She laughed. "So, are you new here?" She didn't recognise her, and she did pick up a bit of an accent...Russian, possibly?

Tamika laughed at Macy's description of herself. "Well then, I'm very pleased to be in your presence ma'am," she joked. "Yes, I only moved to this school about a month ago." Tamika flipped open her file, unclipping a couple of worksheets out of it that her physics teacher had handed the class a couple of days before for the following Monday.
