Will sat at a table with a book in her hands. She was doing some research of her own.
When she had come into the library she was flabberghasted by the size of it. It was massive. It had huge shelves running from one end of the hall to the other end. It had arches and chandliers on the roof. The arches were made out of solid marble as well as the pillars holding them up. The floor was made of granite tiles. It was beautiful. The marble was a creamy whit coulour and the floor was white-ish but it was glossy, so she couldn't complain. The tables were made from old oak and the chairs were very comfortable armchair type things. But they were expensive that she could tell and they were old, very old. It was the biggest library she had ever seen or been to and she loved it at first sight.
The book she was reading had fascinating facts about mythical and magical creatures. It was called Mythical and Magical lore of Creatures.
She had always been into this kind of thing ever since she was little. She had read nearly every book in her local library on it and this one, well this one had a lot more books on it and ones that weren't even out yet.
She sat there, head buried in it when the librarian came over.
"I'm sorry dear, but the library is closing now!" she said sweetly.
"Oh, that's ok, I'll just put it back where I found it and come back tomorrow," She said closing the book and putting things back in her bag.
"Oh, do you want to take it out? You can do that if you want, save you from coming back here to read it." she said taking the book of Will.
"Really? That would be great, thank you!" Will followed her to the check out desk.
"You know you can get out five books at a time if you really want. But I won't be sur-"
"Really, that's fantastic, would you hold on?!" she ran to two different shelves and picked up another four books that she wanted to read and came back to the desk.
The librarian stared at her in amazement, "Well I like to see some students reading!" she took the books of Will.
"Are you kidding?! I could read every book in this library to do with animals, even the magical and mythological ones. I love to read about them and study them so if I ever see one I will know how to handle them and how to approach them without getting hurt or hurting them," she told the librarian while taking the books back of her.
"Really? Well that's a good quality to have. My name is Mrs. Fletchey and my husband works here too as a librarian, so if you need to find any books just ask me or him, ok?"
"Sure will!" Will turned and walked down the hall and out of the library. She opened the book she had been reading and carried on untill she reached her dorm. Dorm 16.
