Being Noticed!

" Dum dum dummmm dee dum dee de"! Safire hummed all the way down the hall before entering the dining room.

Safire had kept herself to herself but she felt like a change, she really wanted to start getting to know new people instead of sitting by herself when it came to any breaks during the day or when she had any free time.
"Im so hungry" She mumbled under her breath as she walked over to the food and had a look around. She lifted up a chocolate bar and sat down at a table, she then took out a book from in her bag and started reading it. She laughed! "What an idoit! How does that?" she said with her head buried in the book. She laughed again.
She sat there happy enough eating her chocolate bar and read her book letting out a laugh every now and again...

Will made her way through the crowds of students that were gathered throught he corridors. She was on a free and decided to go to the Dining Hall for a bit of piece...also she was hungry. She snaked through the students and made her way down the last staircase and crossed the floor to where the double doors led into the Dining Room.
She dodged a few people and went up and bought herself a sweet chilli chicken and cheese panini and a bottle of River Rock water and then stopped.
The room was quite empty and there were plenty of seats. Usually she would have taken one near a corner where hardly anybody would look at her but she didn't feel like being anti-social today.
A giggle rang out and she followed it to it's owner. A blonde haired girl with her nose buried in a book and eating her chocolate bar. She smiled and walked over to her.
"Erm, hi. Can I sit with you?" the girl nodded and Will sat down and picked up half her panini and took a bite, chewed and swallowed before speaking again, "Hi. I'm Will Wright, Head of the Carers." she smiled and took another bite.

Safire nibbled on her chocolate bar then heard someone say "Erm, hi. Can I sit with you?"
Safire looked up from her book and was quite suprised that anyone had even noticed her.
She smiled and happily nodded.

"Hi. I'm Will Wright, Head of the Carers." She said as she bit into her panini.
"Hi. My names Safire Im with the spies" Safire set her book down on the table. "So what brings you to this table? I don't think I have seen you before but then again I havn't been the most chattest person lately!"
A guy from the dining room walked past the table that they were sitting at carrying coffee just as he was passing Safire got up out of her seat and collided into him, the coffee went all over Safires white top. "oh my!"
"You idoit that wasn't a cheap cup of coffee you know I hope you will be replacing it!"
Safire stood there in disbelief,"Exuse me! I think I deserve an apology! An go get you own dam drink!"
Safire stormed off to get some paper towels and came back with a big coffee stain. She sat down," I'm sorry about that, I swear he done it one purpose I don't think he likes me very much"
Safire kept dabbing her top.

Will smiled secretly as she saw the accident happen before her eyes. Safire walked away, Will presumed, to get some paper towels to try and soak up as much of the coffee as possible. Will didn't need her power of premonition to see that.
A couple of minutes later and Safire returned with paper towels in her hands and wiping the brown stain on the white top, "I'm sorry about that, I swear he dif it on purpose. I don't think he likes me very much,"
Will's smile had faded at this point and she just nodded in response not knowing what to say.
How can she say he doesn't like her very much if she's never met or talked to him before? Unless of course, she has met and talked to him before which in that case, would make total sense.
"Do you know him?"

Safire sighed," Sadly yes I do know him! He has been annoying me from day one, he is my ex-boyfriends best friend Bernardo and my ex never got over me so it's like he has sent his friend over to do the dirty work! It makes me so mad and this was a new top aswell.
You know what I think Im gonna get him back for all the sh*t he has put me through" a smile came across Safires face as she thought of ways to get back at him.
"Got it!" She mumbled to herself.
"So yea he is a totally jack*ss and waste of space in my opinion" Safire sighed," Talk of the devil "
Bernardo walked over and said while laughing," Look fire babe Im sorry about your t-shirt but it really brings out your eyes so don't sweat it"
"Your laughing now but you wont be laughing soon and BABE that is a threat" Safire hated pet names and she had a lot of hate for Bernardo.
"So Will right? You want to hang out sometime or even get out of here now for some fresh air?

Will just stared not knowing what to say, do or think. This girl was..was..not shy, that was for sure. She was loud and not self-concious and not afraid to stand up for herself, all of which were good qualities to have.
Will admired those qualities in a person. Sometimes she wished she could have more confidence in herself and what she did and that she could be less self-concious at times but then again, if she was she woudn't be Will. So, although she wished it, she was glad that it never was granted.
"So, Will, right? You want to hang out sometime or even get out of here now for some fresh air?" Safire turned her attention back to Will after shouting after the guy.
Will sat in silence for about thrity seconds or so before answering her, "I'm fine here. So, what powers do you have? Do you like the group you're in? Where do you come from?" Will asked her all the questions that popped into her head one after the other.
It was a good way to keep the conversation flowing and although they were predictable questions it was one way to get to know the other person. Of course, she knew Safire'd ask the same questions back and she would of course answer them. And she also didn't want to go outside for more than one reason.
