For your general information:
Here at Orchid Hill, the majority of our posters have just finished sitting our GCSEs (including myself- totes failed Ad. Maths
)
At our Head of the Carers' suggestion, and our admin's permission (thank you so much, Macy!
) we have decided to change the current timings at Orchid to compensate for the missed amount of posting during our GCSE period.
Although Orchid Hill has up until this point ran in sync with our own timings (for example, when it was October 2007, we wrote on Orchid it was October 2007) we feel that changing the times so that they lie out of sync will help posters to catch up on key dates that may've been missed due to study.
Therefore, although it is currently mid-June 2009, the time on Orchid Hill is still March 2009. Changes in Orchid Hill's seasons and months will be put in the announcements by our wonderful admin.
Also, so as to clear up any current confusion- Madeleine Baudelaire was kidnapped in late January/early February, and this is when the battle occurred.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to PM myself or any of the other Heads.
