Macy walked in a leasurely pace though Cardsdale, taking in her surroundings. She looked across the square at the other people who were getting on with their daily routiene, or just hanging about. She noticed some other students from the school who were sitting on the edge of the fountain, particularly one girl who was showing off her skills in Water Control. Macy sighed, remembering times she's sit at the fountain, freezing it. She was with Will, and they were going to the Heel-Toe Dress Makers, in hopes of finding something pretty. Or atleast that's what Macy had proposed the night before in their dorm. She entered the shop, and saw the familiar sight; a room that had racks and racks of one-of-a-kind dresses, anf the walls covered in lace, and ribbons, and satin. She liked in it there, the atmosphere was homely, and they always had something nice. "Ah, isn't it so nice here?" She asked Will, closing the door behind her, so the bell rang above it.

How many times had she walked this piece of land, now? Too many. The previous night, Macey and herself had agreed that they'd go to the Dress maker shop today. It was funny, Will had never actually set foot into the shop. It looked rather cramped and it was a bit stuffy. IT looked smaller when you stepped in. It was very long and the walls were lined with racks upon racks of clothing. Special Dresswear for all occasions. Though I suppose if they took all the racks of clothing away then it'd be much bigger than it looks when you first step in. she blinked and approved of it mentally cocking her head slightly. They walked a bit further into it and Will noticed the walls. They were covered in all sorts of fabric. They really had outdone themselves. Macy broke through her assessment of the place with a question, "Ah, isn't it so nice here?" the bell rang as the door closed. "Yes, it is rather. Very surprising for a first time visitor," she replied with a smile. She walked over to the closest rack and started to flick through some of the dresses. "So what kind of things are we looking for?"

Macy laughed at the fact that this was her first time in here. Yes, Macy wasn't there every single day and night, but there was the odd occassion that she liked to come in and peruse. Now and again, she would even try on a dress, just for fun. Oh, she was so sad, thinking about it. "Well, I don't know. Something nice." She said, running her fingers through a rack of dresses. She then noticed the large trail of ice she had left behind, making the dresses freeze together. She bit her lip, looking for the shop owner, incase she had seen her runing her nice and neat dreses, and quickly, Macy tried to melt and clean up all of the ice, without drawing attention. "Hmm...what about this..." She said, bringing out a light blue dress. But it had a halter-neck. "Maybe not..." Shhe said, standing back from it, and actually looking at it. Velvet. Possibly another time, when she is a bridemaid of a girl who hates her guts. "Now, this is nice." She said, finiding a dark red dress. She held it up to Will's body, and squinted. "I like the colours..." She said, tilting her head. "What do you think?"

Will kept flicking through the racks. She pulled out a sky blue silk and Organza running over the top of it. It was floor-length and a halter neck. Will loved it but the colour would never suit her. That's what will make me different from everyone else though, I like clashing colours. She carried on and moved to the next line of clothes when Macey came up and held a gorgeous red dress in front of Will so she could get a better look. "I like the colours..." She said, tilting her head. "What do you think?" Will had to get Macy to hold it up to herself so she could see how it looked. She looked it up and down with her eyes and then took a step back. "I think it's gorgeous, it really suits you Macey." she turned and went back to her own rack and picked out a lovely emerald green, satin coloured one which was strapless and floor length again with a bit of a train, "What do you think of this one? Ooooh, it changes different shades of green depending where the light hits it!" ok, now the girl within was starting to come out. She was starting to really enjoy this and get into it, "I think I might try it on."

"Definatly. I'll come with you, just give me a moment." She said, looking about quickly. She grabbed a couple of dresses and layed them on her arm, not really noticing what ones she picked up. "This is for the both of us.." She said, pulling out a pale pink summer dress, with tulle lining. "Ohh. I'm liking this." She said in a dazed voice. She headed towards the changing rooms, that were locatedin the left-hand corner of the store. The changing rooms were a block of six small rooms that opened out to a larger room with a sofa by the wall, and mirrors everywhere. It was all very stylish in the shop, each changing room seemed to have a different theme and coloue. Macy picked the red room, and set her dresses on the chair. "Okay, Will, put on your dress, and when I count to three, we both have to come out and show each other what we're wearing!" She said, excitidly. Yes, this may have been seen as silly to other people, but she was having too much fun to care.

Will quickly dashed into a green coloured room by random choice and put the several dresses she had over her arm onto a peg and quickly took of her casual clothes and put on the emerald green coloured dress first. She zipped it up at the back and put on a pair of high heels she found on the way to the changing rooms. "I'm ready when you are , Macey!" she called out and while she waited she twirled one way and then the other and back again. It was soo graceful looking and very light. "I think I might buy this - ok scratch that." she frowned as she looked at the price. She could cry. IT was more money than she had. Maybe if she asked her granddad nicely he'd pay for half of it. There was no doubt about it. Will was going to come in here more often and try more of theses dresses on. Maybe she'd even apply for a part time job in here. Now, there's an idea. Or maybe we could hold a fashion show for the school... and her thoughts continued on like this. "Ready?"

"Yep!" Macy called, looking at herself in the mirror. The dress hung on her nicely, and it was short enough for her to show off her long legs, something she didn't do often. She slipped on her boots, to stop her from turning the place into the inside of a freezer. She walked out of the changing room and twirled, feeling her dress flair out. "Oh, Will, you look beautiful!" She told her friend, inspecting her. She looked back at herself in the mirror, and reahced up to hold her hair up in a bun, and turned to see herself from the side. "Now, I do have to say, we don't look half bad. I like to come into the shop here sometimes, just to try on dresses and see how I look. I feel like a different person when I do." She said, looking her Will's dress. "Of course, I could never afford them, but it's just like a little dream I have. Oh, don't tell anyone that." She asked, even though she knew in herself that she trusted Will not to. "Okay, now do a catwalk for me, so I can see what it looks like on you!" She said, clapping her hands together, and laughing.

A what!? Seriously? A catwalk? If Will's face hadn't given it away already she was shocked. Catwalks had not been her thing. She'd tried it with her friends back in Germany and no. Just. No. "A-a-a-a Catwalk? Me?" she looked at Macy with a look of pure horror on her face. The last she had tried, she had ended up breaking someone's arm and nearly blinded another in one eye. So of course she was a bit taken aback when Macy asked her to try Catwalk-ing. Gulping she nodded ever so slightly, "O-ok. I can do that...I think," she walked over to Macy and looked towards the shop. She placed one hand on her hip, kept her head high, back straight and a serious look on her face. And she walked. She was the star. She left a smokey trail behind her and was sure she had singed the carpet from her nervous-ness. She giggled slightly. This was fun. It wasn't scarey. She stopped at the entrance of the changing rooms, struck a pose and walked back with a slight, dark grin to her face. Reaching Macy she asked, "Well? Reckon I'd get a deal with an agency? Ignoring the height of course." She smiled, twirled and as her dress fanned out she giggled. She laughed for a bit and looked up at Macy. "Bring it."

Macy watched Will's runway walk, and smiled. This was something that her mother always made Macy do, when they were out clothes shopping, there was always a point when Mum would clap her hands together and say "Okay, Runway Time!" Even though they were in a busy changing room on a Saturday afternoon. It seemed that Macy had obtained the habit. "Oh, sexy. I hear Karl Largerfeld will be calling any time." She said, smiling. Alright, Macy's turn. She straighten her back, putting her shoulders back, and held her head high. She did her best runway walk down the changing room, and turned to wink at Will. "Oh, we always have to look fierce all the time." She said, leaning back into a pose, and then started laughing. "Gorgeous!" She said, twirling, and putting her hands in the air. She then realised that someone was standing in the door of the changing room, watching them. She turned to see a short woman standing there, and she recognised her to be Elouise Cartright, the designer of many of the dresses at the shop. She wasn't the shop owner, but was a resident of Cardsdale, who's reputation had gone before her. Rumours said that she worked for a top fashion designer, but gave up after a fight with the designer in question. Now she made dresses for the Heel-Toe, but she seemed content with her settings. Macy had only seen her a few times about the town, but she never had the courage to talk to her, she always seemed like such a stern woman, who had an eye for design, but not a mouth to contain her thoughts. "Beautiful." Miss Cartright said, walking towards Will and Macy. "You should walk for me sometime. Are you from that school?" That school being Orchid Hill, but Macy realised that it was the one she was talking about. "Orchid Hill? Yes, we are both Heads of two of the groups, there. Myself being the Head of the Academics, and my friend, the Head of the Carers." Macy was feeling nervous, and at these times, she rambled. Miss Cartright remained silent, looking at her and Will for a few moments, before walking over to Will, and brushing something of her shoulder. "How do you find the dress?" She asked Will, standing back, taking it in.

Ok. So who was she again? Seriously. Rewind. Now. Macey obviously knew this person. This...weird, random, lady. She had introduced the both of them. And by the looks of it, they both were getting slightly...excited. The little woman walked up to Will and brushed something of her shoulder before taking a step back to study the dress on her. "How do you find the dress?" Who was this woman!? Will frowned, "Eh." she took a quick glance up at Macey and then back down at the woman, "Awesome?" she answered uncertainly. She sighed and Shrugged a bit. She felt uncomfortable now. How could she answer someone straight forwardly if she didn't know them all that well. She turned and looked back in the mirroe before giving a slight smile and answered the person properly. "I think it looks beautiful. I would love to buy it to be honest but I'm broke. Heh-heh." she gave a nervouse laugh and looked over at Macey while the women studied the dress on Will from all angles and mouthed Who is she?

Macy laughed at how helpless her friend looked there. She could pick up vibes from Miss Cartright, telling her her that the designer knew that Will didn't have a clue who she was. "Yes, the dresses are really beautiful." Macy said, trying to save her friend. Also, she couldn't help sucking up a bit, it was in her nature; she was the Head of the Academics, for goodness sake. Elouise Cartright nodded in slight approval, before looking like she was deep in thought. "Well, if you two girls have any power at your school..." Macy couldn't help but smile into herself at Miss Cartright's unintended pun, "Then why don't you organise a show for the students and facuality? If you charge an enterance fee, then that could raise some funds for the shop, that so desperatly needs it. Recession, and all that." She said, in a matter-of-fact way. She almost looked like she wasn't really suggesting the idea, but had already confirmed it in her mental calender. "Really? That does sound good, Will and I could ask Professor Thandie later about it. Oh, that's our vice-principle." Macy explained. Actually, the idea excited her a bit, they could easliy create an ice platform on Glass lake, she could get Madeleine and Kira in, dress Steve in a tux... She was getting ahead of herself, and the latter idea made her smile. "I'm sure that the school wouldn't mind, we like to have social events a lot, since it's a boarding school." The designer looked at both of the girls, before rummaging through her purse, retreaving a small white card. "Yes, it sounds very well. I've heard stories about your school, but the students from it that I see in Cardsdale do seem to have a beautiful gene. Here, this is my business card. Call me if you want to do it, and give me two weeks advance notice to sort out a collection." She was a very strange woman, Macy thought, she just walked into a changing room ten minutes ago, and now they were planning a fashion show! And even so, Elousie Cartright didn't even seem to bat an eyelid at it all, like she did this all the time. The stern designer turned to look at them up and down, before walking out of the changing room. Macy was still holding her business card, which was becoming frosty from her fingertips. "Oh my, Will, what just happened?! We're having a fashion show!" She said in a quite squeal of excitement. "Should we do it?"

Will blinked as the lady left. Wer; was; wo; wenn; warum? "Oh my, Will, what just happened?! We're having a fashion show!" Macy let out squeal of excitement. "Should we do it?" Will looked at her and blinked. A fashion show? But- She smiled, "Why not? What else is there to do for fun. Sides' we get to dress up and strut our stuff for real and we get to design it!" she began to picture it in her head. "Macy? Go try on that red dress! I'm trying on the gold next!" and Will ran back into the changing room, stripped down and put the next dress on with a new set of heels. She was so into this dressing up thing right now that no one could stop her. "What should the theme be?" she called over the curtain as she zipped up her dress.

"Well, we won't be designing the dresses, that'll be Miss Cartright's job..." She said, holding her hair back, so she could twist around to see the back of the dress in the mirror. She laughed to herself, thinking about her friends and herself walking in a show at the school. "Okay, but remember we'll have to get the permission from the school...but I don't think that it will be too hard." She laughed. "Maybe the theme should be...oh, I don't know!" She said, while she went back into the cublicle to change her dress, to the red dress that Will told her wear. "Perhaps... we could base it on the Groups. I mean, the group colours could be used, and we could try to get a lot of people involved, professors included. Oh, and get people to pay to see it, that'll be good." Macy looked down at her dress, and ran her hands down it, smoothing it down. She alayws knew that she was smaller than other girls, but when she looked at herself in the mirror sometimes, she could only see the sharp bone structure in her face, and the bones that could be seen through her skin. She sighed, and pushed the thought out of her head, and went out to the changing room. "So, should we ask Professor Thandie when we get back to the school, then?" She asked, looking at herself in the mirror again.

"Yes. I think that might be a good idea." Will smiled as she watched Macy. The red suited her. Will went to the mirror beside Macy and looked at the dress. She liked this one the best out of them all. Unfortunately...she was stuck for money. "Hmm, we could always go with a medevil theme? Or a Four Elements theme....or we could go with a theme that shows how Orchid has changed through the years..y'know? I think that would be cool. This is all very exciting!" she smiled widely and twirled her way out into the store again to find more dresses. "Do you think she'll let us?"
