Me (me)/Cass (most other people)/Cassandra (if you’re Kendra)/Caspar (if you’re a teacher)/Caspar the Friendly Ghost (if you’re trying to irritate me but don’t have a very big imagination. Also, future reference, that probably won’t irritate me )/The Flying Dutchman(…Kennedy. Just… Kennedy)

Me in Cardsdale… um, a year ago? I think so. It was pretty close to when I left, anyway. We went down for a
That expression is a result of Kennedy having already taken about twenty billion photographs of me and saying, for each one, that I looked like I was ‘mocking him with my eyes’, whatever that’s supposed to mean. I mean, I was just being normal, so apparently I always mock with my eyes whenever my glasses are broken. Who knew?
But anyway, in the end, I closed my eyes. So problemo solved-o.
Mum

…I don’t really know what I should say here.
Um, well, I guess I miss her. No, I mean, obviously I miss her. But in some ways… It’s better that she’s gone. That picture there was taken when I was ten – she didn’t smile so much by then, but this was a good day – so that was before she got sick, but when she was sick… It was like she was a different person. And she was in a lot of pain.
She’s in a better place now.
At least, I think she should be.
Coby

(Yeah, hard to get this guy to smile for a photograph.)
Coby’s basically the older brother I never had. He’s a few years older than me – three, I think? It never really mattered very much. Anyway, completely idolised him from the ages of about five to twelve – more or less until when I came to Orchid, really. And that makes sense, ‘cause honestly, he’s a cool guy. However, all things considered, it’s probably best that I left when I did, as he did start getting into some… um, unsavoury activity. For a while. So it was probably better that he didn’t keep being my role model. The storm passed more or less by the time I got back.
It was mostly Aafje’s fault, anyway. Speaking of which…
Aafje

And if Coby is the big brother I never had, then Aafje is the big sister. Which is, I guess, a weird way to put it, as Coby and Aafje are together, but, well, they’re not together with me, and I’m the one who sees them like that, so it’s not that weird. I’m sure they don’t see each other like brother and sister.
…Jesus, actually, I hope not.
Ack. Right. Anyway, back to the picture. Not much to say here, ‘cept this was taken in Amsterdam a couple of months ago, and that Aafje is one of the awesomest girls I know. And most definitely the awesomest drummer that I know. True facts.
Lynnie (me)/Lynn (most people)/Lyndsey (if you’re a teacher)/Sally (if you’re Kennedy. Or if you’re not Kennedy but feel like getting your arse kicked.)

Well, I mean, OK, seriously? There’s probably not much that I can say here without it sounding either bitter or pathetic. And that second one I can’t say much about, because you don’t get to decide whether you yourself are pathetic. Rule one of life. Or, well, maybe rule seven, or something, it might not be that important.
But I’m not bitter. I can promise you that. I left her, you know? And it wasn’t like we were in a long-distance relationship, or anything, we did break up. So, yeah, I know she feels guilty for moving on – she hasn’t said it in so many words, or anything, but I can tell – but really. She’s happy with whatyoumacallhim – Russ, I think? – and so I’m happy for them. End of.
Moving on.
Kennedy (because he’s neurotic about having his name shortened)/Ken (most people, even if he does get pissed about it)/ Kendra (for when the occasion calls for it)/Kenny (if you’re Lynnie or if you’re pissed with him)/Delaney (if you’re Jamie)/Wireless (if you’re online)

And people tell me that I need a haircut. Hell, he tells me that I need a haircut!
Well, we all knew that Kendra was a hypocrite =]
But he’s also a laugh. Hence why we all put up with him.
Jamie (nearly everyone)/Jay (for moments of affection)/Jay-Jay (for moments of double the affection)/Jamieson (Lynn, but I think other people could use it, it doesn’t seem to bother her very much)/Mason (Kennedy, naturally)/Grease Lightning (if you’re Kennedy and feel like having your balls ripped off)
Jamie dearest. I love this girl. We’ve been friends for… oh, six years now, or something? A very long time, anyway, and she’s awesome, in my book. I mean, my book which probably doesn’t correspond with the book of the rest of the school, ‘cause most people don’t seem to think that Academics are capable of kicking ass.
Meet the exception to the rule, my friends.
Also, she probably shouldn’t have so many nicknames either, but… well, Kennedy. Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy. A conflict of interests right there. I probably shouldn’t have put those two so close to each other in my scrapbook, because if they were standing that close together in real life one would probably be dead by now.
…ehh, well, whatever.
Cardo (actually everyone)/ Cards (for those moments when two syllables is just too hard)/ Rica (for Carmen and… his parents, I think? Not sure.)
And Cardo would be the other part of the six-year-friendship thing. Him and Jay and I were all three musketeer-y before the Delaneys came along. Not that the Delaneys shouldn’t have come along, obviously, but the three musketeer thing was fun.
And we didn’t stop being all three musketeer-y then, not really, until he and Jamie stopped talking. That was fun for me. At least they seem to have got over that, by now. Or Jamie seems to have forgiven him, which is what was needed, ‘cause the whole thing was basically entirely his fault.
And by the way, that face there? That face there is a I’ve-been-on-duty-for-eleven-hours-now-and-you-want-to-take-pictures? face. And yes. Yes, I did want to take pictures.
Carmen (again, not a big nickname fan)/Carrie (if you’re Cardo or you know her remarkably well)/Carmena (if you’re Cardo and speaking Spanish)

Carmen… Ahh, Carmen, what to say about Carmen? Well, she’s Cardo’s cousin at any rate, although I’m not sure what kind of cousin, possibly third or fourth… Anyway, it took a very long time for her to get comfortable around guys she wasn’t related to, what with her power and all, but I’ve spoken to her quite a lot by now, and I think she’s got better. We’re friends, more or less.
I think.
Anna/Annie (I think I heard someone call her that once.)

Cardo’s duty buddy that he replaced me with when I was away. Can’t blame him, to be honest, Anna is brilliant. Don’t know her that well yet, but I’m planning on it.
Oh, also, she was instrumental in saving Kennedy’s life. So we’ve got general approval from the friend-group for her already for that.
Ari (most people seem to call him that, at least)

Yeah, right, OK, so freely admitting, here- I don’t know this guy. But he seems to be great friends with all the people who I’m great friends with, and Lynnie insists that one day we’ll be bestest buddies, or whatever, so I’m putting his picture in here in advance =] Photo pinched from the Delaney selection.
He plays the violin, anyway. Self-taught, according to Lynnie. I respect that. Maybe we should play together sometime.
Will (everybody, so far as I’m aware)
Dear Will, who is my Head, and also my good friend. Yeah, I know, I’m in with the Head, how cool am I? I bet there’re all kinds of special secret privileges for that.
Aw, but no, seriously? Doesn’t matter at all if Will’s Head or not; she’s awesome, and that’s why she’s my friend. You can’t get much better than that =]
…hold on, is that really everyone done already? Bugger. I need more friends; this thing’s full of blank pages…
