Physical Description;;

Mikhail isn't really that striking of a person physically. He's rather tall, and stand at 6 ft 2 in. He's of a pretty average build; not that big, not that skinny, a bit of muscle in his arms. His skin is pretty kind of tanned, and he's terribly prone to getting spots on his chin. He has long, brown hair, which rests just below his shoulder in a side parting that covers his forehead. His eyes are also a soft brown, but a little darker than that of his hair. Mikhail's eyes tend to be surrounded by dark bags a lot of the time because he doesn't sleep very much.

Clothing Description;;

Mikhail dresses like pretty much any other fourteen year old boy out there. He likes band t-shirts, logo t-shirts, plaid shirts. He's not really a fan of sweaters or jackets, but has a big obsession with wearing hoodies. Most of them he likes to wear about one size too big for him. He has a tight black hoodie and perfect fit checkered hoodie he loves though.
He's not really a fan of wearing proper trousers, they're just not comfortable and he's thankful that he hasn't had to wear any for a formal occasion yet. Instead, he prefers to wear skinny jeans mainly; he has quite the growing collection. Sometimes he wears looser jeans, but not very often.
Mikhail likes to wear comfy sneakers. Converse, Nikes, Vans. He has a habit of buying a new pair anytime he has a lot of money and is in town. He can't for the life on him wear flip flops or understand why people would want to wear them.
Accesory wise, Mikhail doesn't really have many. He likes to wear sweatbands sometimes, and if he needs to keep his hair out of his face he opts for bandana's folded and tied round his head.

Personality;;

Confident
Sometimes, Mikhail will start off as shy. Most of the time this isn't what he is really like though, as he actually oozes confidence. He doesn't mind talking to new people or answering questions in class, and is in his element when he's meeting new people. He's not the type of person that is over-confident to the point of cocky though, it's like a happy balance.
Good-Natured
Mikhail has a kind heart and will help out people if they need, as long as he knows he's not just being used for his smarts or something like that. Unfortunately for Mikhail, his ability to differentiate between fake and genuine has faltered quite a bit, and so a lot of the time he gets used. He has always believed in treating others how he would like to be treated, in the hope that one day, that actually will happen for him.
Happy
Mikhail is very rarely down. There's always something he finds to cheer himself up and get on happily with his day. Of course, he's not so abnormal that nothing will ever make Mikhail take a downer, but he quickly realises that it's not the end of the world and gets on with it. A lot of the time, he doesn't express his emotions on his face, which is why people tend to assume he's upset when he's not talking.
Sarcastic
Although most of the time Mikhail adores a childish sense of humor, his favorite style of all is most definately dry and sarcastic wit. It's actually a guarantee that if you're sarcastic, Mikhail will adore you. It's something about the sharpness and subtle humor that gets him every time.
Loving
Mikhail is a very caring boy, and loves those that are close to him very dearly. He hates the thought of well, hating someone. To him, it's just not worth it, and love is a much more pleasant emotion to feel towards a person who you're close to.

History;;

The history of Mikhail Viktorovich Dombrovski is not exactly a normal one. Well, not in comparison with his fellow fifteen-year-olds anyway.
On a dark autumns night back in 2004, Joselie Dombrovski brought into the world a baby boy, after 3 hours of labor. Rather than the babys father by her side, she had her mother. Mikhail was to be her second child, and she considered this after messing up with her first child.
Mikhail was rather spoiled as a baby, with three women - his mother, sister and grandmother - constantly around him, it would have been hard for him not to be. Due to this extra attention, Mikhail was always a quick learner. From 8 months, he was mumbling words that resembled non-baby speak, and at 14 months he could toddle about. As soons as he was able to hold the giant zoo playing cards bought for him, Mikhail quickly grasped the concept of 'Snap!' and other easy, childrens card games. This helped him learn to count quicker and recognise numbers and colors.
All went pretty swimmingly for Mikhail, with his quick ability to learn becoming a bragging point in the neighborhood for his mother and grandmother. With the exception of his sister being in Scotland at boarding school and his father death a couple of months after Mikhails third birthday, the family was pretty perfect. At age four, Mikhail started to read, color things in with more preciseness than just scribbles and ride a bicycle. He also became more confident in the surrounding area of the family home, and would play outside all the time he could.
In December 2008, when Mikhail was five, this limited freedom (what a contradiction...) became the cause of panic and heartache for the whole neighborhood. One day, when out playing, the boy went missing. Search parties were sent out, the story was in the local newspaper. Joselie and Agnesa broke their hearts. A few days after his disappearance, an eight-year-old boy appeared on the doorstep of the home, claiming to be Mikhail. Of course, they didn't believe him, and thought a neighbor was playing a sick joke. Until the boy told them things only the close family would actually know.
Now that Mikhail was back, it was decided he would be hidden from the neighbors so the family secret would not be let out. In the meantime, as well as keeping Mikhail safe from running off, Joselie tried to figure out what had happened. Agnesa reminded Joselie of the family gift, but she didn't want to believe it.
It is said that in the Dombrovski family, going back as far as their origins in Norway, there has been a gift/curse passed down to each niece and nephew of the gift/curse-bearer - no one else got why it worked like that either. The gurse (it's easier to name it that...) has worked that whomever bears it lives normally until the age of four or five, essentially after they're a toddler, then they become the age of a teenager. They live as a teenager until the age of twenty-one, when they will age again to their thirties, where it wears off again until at the age of fifty the once again age to sixty-five, and then it stops. Yeah, its aging patterns are as odd as its way of passing down.
Anyway, back to the history. Joselie thought this was propostorous, as she didn't believe it had happened to her sister. Joselie forgot though that Agnesa and Sergey had a daughter who had died in a car crash when she was thirteen when Joselie and her sister were just young. During one of the arguments about the curse, they didn't notice that Mikhail had slipped from their sights, and so came another few days of worry over his disappearance. They didn't get the neighbors involved this time though, and then low and behold, he came back. This time, he was fifteen years old, and he had went through his last aging until he turned twenty-one.
Joselie and Agnesa decided it would be best to get all of the still living 'gifted' family members together in St. Petersburg, as some had assumed the curse died with young Tatyana all those years ago. After much deliberating amongst the family and more arguments than anyone would care to admit, it was decided on a course of action. Now that Mikhail was finished aging for now, he would be sent to the same boarding school as his sister when the money could be mustered up, which was quicker than they first assumed.

Gifts;;

Advanced Aging - A power passed down his family. Come the end of what's considered important or special ages, Mikhail will age both physically and mentally to another important age.
Eidetic Memory - Mikhail can recite pretty much anything that he has ever read back to someone exactly the way it was written without hesitation.
The Shining - Another power that is passed through the family, although rather rare generally. He can see past events of a building or person, communicate with other holders of the shining, see things others can't. Much like psychics, he's sensitive to a buildings energy, and can be affected by it. Eventually, this power will drive him crazy.

Pets;;

A black kitten named Begemot. A present from his grandmother a few months back.
Although Begemot is not a 'magic' kitten, normal pets do not typically run in the Dombrovski household. Begemot is senstive towards moods, personalites and for some reason, EMF. If a person is angry or of a negative nature, Begemot will pick up on this and warn Mikhail.
Aside from this, Begemot is like a usual kitten. Extremely curious, lovable, and adores being cuddled. If there's any string hanging about, even from clothing being worn, Begemot enjoys playing with it and dangling about. He also likes anything with a bell and his favorite treat is cooked chicken.

Other;;

His elder sister, Tamika, also attends the school.
Fan of indie and pop-punk.
Plays the drums a little.
Enjoys playing poker and blackjack.
Is surprisingly good at juggling.
He'll never admit it, but Mikhail enjoys the odd romance novel.
His favorite book is Inkheart.
He can't write with anything but black or purple pens.
Likes touch lamps, as apposed to switch lamps.
When old enough, Mikhail plans to renovate his great-grandparents home back in Arkhangelsk.
