His heart defalted a little, just a little. "I don't give up that easily. I will get you before the year's over Miss Dombrovski, mark my words!" then he lunged at her and tickled her. He could understand why she wasn't up for another relationship, but he wanted to help her get through it and he couldn't really...comfort her the way he thought he could by being a friend. That and he really did want to be with her. Tamika wasn't your ordinary girl, she wasn't a barbie..thank the heavens; Jet couldn't stand girls like that, no, Tamika was a whole new girl and one Jet could get along easily with. Letting her go, he went to Elliot picked it up and started playing a different song now. "Tamika, what sort of music do you like?"

Tamika couldn't help herself from doing a ridiculously childish giggle when Jet started to tickle her. She was glad he at least wasn't taking a p*ssy fit, and would be greatly amused by his attempts to get her. She whined a little when Jet let her go to play Elliot and then sat down at her original place. She shuffled to sit closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder and he played. "Indie. Rock. Pop, those general types," she replied.

Ok, not what he was looking for. He really should phrase his questions better. "No, I meant...who is your most..favourable band or artist? I know people have many but one that you would tend to listen to more often than the others?" he was contemplating putting his right arm around her and playing that way but decided against it as it would be quite painful and awkward.

"Oh right!" Tamika laughed a little at her taking the question in a different way, and then thought for a moment. "Probably Alkaline Trio. Oh! Or Unwritten Law! I can't decide between those two!" The more she started thinking about it, the more favorite bands started coming to mind, after a few seconds she came to a definate conclusion. "Okay, definately Alkaline Trio," she nodded to herself in conclusion.

Jet smiled. Alkaline Trio. He'd have to listen to them before he could compose something close to their music for her. He played one of his older compositions and hummed the words to it. "So, what's your favourite movie?"

Tamika gave Jet an odd look, which was earned because of all these questions about her favorite things. She once again thought for a moment before then coming to another conclusion. "Heather's probably, although in at a very close second to that is Goodfella's..." She was going to ask why he wanted to know, but it would feel somewhat impolite to ask.

Deciding to stop he heaved a sigh and lay there silently. It was starting to get dark; as per usual this time of the year. The sky had heavy snow clouds in it. Snow. Joyous... Though his mother used to say that's what the weather was like when she had married his dad. They had come out of the church and it had been snowing. A winter wonderland. He hated the snow. It was cold and wet and sometimes yellow. Which reminded him of the time he had tricke Ryan into eating yellow snow by telling him it was like an apple slushpuppie. The look on Ryan's face had been priceless. "Tamika, do you like snow?

Tamika chuckled to herself at that question before replying. "Jethro, I'd like you to think about that question, and then remember where abouts I'm from." As a Russian, she had no choice really but to be extremely tolerant of snow, even if she didn't like it all that much. The fact that it tended to melt in her general area was helpful too. "Why? You think it's gonna snow?"

"Why? You think it's gonna snow?" Jet chuckled as well at her question. Using her previous statement he answered her. "Tamika, think you where you come from. What do the clouds look like?" he rolled his eyes dramtically, "'Sides just cause you live in a snowy place does not mean you like it." He chuckled again. He may be and airhead at times but so was she. It was quite amusing to him to make this similarity. Shaking his hair again, he sat up and started whistling.

Tamika glared and stuck her tongue out at Jet. "I never pay attention to clouds! I spent too much time in a colorful blur when I was growing up." She laughed again and pulled her legs up underneath her, leaning back again on her palms. She glanced at Jet while he was whistling, trying to ignore how soft his lips looked when they were pouted... To distract herself, she set her shoes and feets on fire, burning little Etnies symbols onto the ground because of the shoe plastic.

Holding his mouth in a whistling position, let alone trying to keep on whistling was a hard task to do in and of itself. He saw Tamika looking his direction, then blushing slightly she concentrated on her feet for what seemed no time at all before they burst into roaring flames. The plastic melting onto the sand. All this he saw happening through his peripheral vision. Still whistling, he rolled his eyes again, even more dramatically than the last. Sure to irk her off. A typical girl with lustful feelings. I wonder if she thinks the same of me...

Tamika stared out over the lake, watching leaves flittering about in the wind, mixing with the fog from the lake. It was so captivating, she didn't notice the grass around her go alight, the flames slowly getting stronger. "Oh sh*t!" She muttered, stopping the fire from her legs and patting the ground. When the fire was out there was just ash on the ground. She giggled a little and started to play with it, then remembered she wasn't alone. Deciding to act grown up again, Tamika turned to glance up at Jet again. "So... Any plans for Christmas?"

"Not really, Ry might be coming down here to visit for a week or two, but part from that, nothing. What about you?" interesting change of topic. If there was one time of the year Jathro didn't particularly like, it was christmas. It was getting more expensive by the year. This hurt Jet's bank account and he couldn't exactly ask his parents for some of their money.

Tamika gave a polite smile at Jethro's plans and then shrugged when he returned the question. "I think I'm just going to Josh's flat, providing he's back by then. If not, I'm trashing his flat and skating a lot..." She was quite happy about the idea of a few days alone over Christmas. She had a ridiculous amount of work to get done and wasn't particularly fond of normal traditions. A sudden cold burst passed through Tamika, which she realised to be a spirit, and it wasn't planning to move anytime soon it would seem. She shuffled closer to Jet and latched around his arm, cuddling herself close. "I'm stealing your body heat, you have no choice in this matter," she grinned.

Instead of pushing her away and fighting back a slight shiver he held her closer, both arms wrapped around her. "You can steal my body heat any time you like, m'dear," he grinned mischeviously. How he wanted her to say yes. How his heart pounded everytime she touched him. Please change your mind girl!
