Physical Description:
Lanky. Goth. Mod. That's the main of it. Klaus stands at 5ft 11in and weighs in just under 9 stone. His hair, although naturally brown, is always dyed black. He has bright blue eyes, which are nearly always rimmed with black eyeliner. For some reason he always looks like he's going to cry. His skin is pale and, due to experiments, unnaturally clear. Despite his skinniness, Klaus is a bit muscular, but not much. His love of séances and ouija boards caused Klaus to get 'Hello' tattooed on his right palm and 'Goodbye' on his left.

Klaus only owns one type of trousers - cigarette pants, modified by himself. Shoes are also pretty much the same all the time too as he only likes wearing hand-made Italian Winklepickers. This only varies when he has to run and wears his fluoro Converse. With tops, he varies between shirts (with waistcoat and cravat) and just t-shirts/jumpers (with blazer and scarf). The only jackets he owns are military trench coats and blazers. When drunk, he is partial to dancing in a kilt made of a blanket...
Personality:
Klaus is cocky, uncaring and egotistical. Sometimes acting like this annoys him, but then he winds someone up and feels better again. Although he can't help his natural rude reactions, Klaus does have a nice side although this is shown only to Mrs. Hargreeves and his sister Vanya. At Orchid Hill, he has promised himself that he will make more of an effort to be a people person and at least pleasant. Vanya told him she thinks he'll fail epicly, so he locked her in a closet and went for some chinese food. Well, he wasn't at Orchid then.
History:
Klaus is not sure where he was born, or whom he was born to. He was one of 7 children adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, or 'the Monocle' as he liked to be called. The Monocle was a world-famous scientist, and so his reasoning for adopting the children was unknown. All Sir Hargreeves told them of their births were that one day, they and 3 other children (unfortunately deceased) were born spontaneously to women that were not pregnant beforehand. The birth parents knew the children were 'special' and did not appreciate this, so the 7 of them were sent to be adopted at various places around the world. Of the siblings, Klaus was number 00.04, or 'The Séance' as he was named. His other siblings were given similar names, except for his brother 00.05, who disappeared into the future because of his time travelling power. Klaus was given his name due to his Psychic abilities.
When old enough, Klaus was picked from the 7 children to partake in a series of 'experiments'. Over the years the experiments altered his personality from a kind, loving boy into a cocky, narcissistic kid. After this, he started to resent his family, except for Mrs Hargreeves and his sister 00.07, or Vanya. They couldn't stop how Klaus turned out in boarding school though. Taking advantage of his personality switch, Klaus fell in with the 'in-crowd'. You would think in kids at a prestigious boarding school would be snobby and rich, but surprisingly they weren't. Moving on though...
At boarding school - Uppingham School if you must know - Klaus discovered the joys of speed, weed and whiskey. Obviously this behaviour was frowned upon and after starting an assembly sing-song of 'Chelsea Dagger' under the influence, Klaus was expelled. His 'siblings' all blame him for Sir Hargreeves death. They say that the stress Klaus caused with expulsion and arguments caused the heart valve to explode, but he just thinks this is a load of bull and knows that it wasn't his fault.
On the morning of the funeral, Klaus posted his application for Orchid Hill Academy. He didn't tell his family as this was going to be his new beginning away from them. After two weeks of watching Luther and Diego fight the bit out and avoiding Allison's 'rumor's', Klaus finally recieved a letter from Orchid Hill Academy congratulating him on his acceptance. In a very childish fashion, he packed his things and flipped each sibling off personally (barr Vanya of course), then left for school.

Another not really known hobby of Klaus' is dancing, not that he does it much. Although he doesn't take speed so much now, Klaus still drinks, smokes and takes the occasional spliff.
