"Hey, you're going to let off steam with actually hitting me while i carry you around the field and you won't be able to stop or run away from me fast enough or you can take a chance and not hit me with a fire ball, either way you're gonna let of some anger," he grinned. He knew some girls hated to be lifted, ok some was an understatement but he knew Tamika was one of those girls. Tough, she has to let it off.. he grinned at her waiting for her to make a decision.

Tamika growled under her breath at Jet. He was really starting to wind her up now, all she wanted to do was sit and cry but here he was wittering on about bloody carrying her and fireballs. She cleared her mind and concentrated on Jet's throat, slowly burning the skin. Yes, it may seem cruel, but he deserved it. "I think I might hate you a little right now," she muttered. After a little bit, Tamika decided to give the burning a rest, there was no point in hurting Jet because she was pissed off. She sighed and then flopped onto the ground, pulling one knee up to set her chin on and curling the other leg underneath her.

After the brief but very painful burning stopped around his throat he saw Tamika flop down on the ground, lean against the boulder and put her chin on her knee. Poor girl... Jet sighed and walked over to her. He slipped down beside her, brushing a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. Without thinking he ulled her into a hug and cradled her there. "Tamika, I'm sorry for what's happened to you. They guy should..." he stopped short not sure whether the next thing he said would make her more upset or pissed off or..actually burn him alive. He cringed silently at that thought.

Tamika buried her head into Jet's chest when he hugged her. As wrong as it was because she had just broken up with Twitch, she was getting butterflies in her tummy from Jet. "Tamika, I'm sorry for what's happened to you. The guy should..." She choked back a sob, "I should go and burn that slag. I mean like, what the hell, did she not catch on from his tattoo?" Tamika stopped and opened her eyes when a thought hit her. "OH MY GOD. If he told her that tattoo was for her I swear I will kill. I'm stuck with this stupid script on my stomach now!"

Jet cocked his head to the side out of curiosity...thinking to himself. She had a scrpit on her stomach...this girl was more than he had ever imagined. Maybe it won't go to waste... "You could always get it removed by lazer...or maybe someone up at the school has that power to remove stuff on the body..." what a strange power to have...though undoubtedly helpful at times. "Tamika...I'm not so good at this whole comforting others thing..actually I'm rubbish at it but..I want you to know I'm here for you," he patted her back once then an idea occurred to him. He gently pushed Tamika away from him and grabbed the guitar and started to play a well known tune to most if not everyone then sang at the right moment.
"Chiquitita, tell me whats wrong Youre enchained by your own sorrow In your eyes there is no hope for tomorrow How I hate to see you like this There is no way you can deny it I can see that youre oh so sad, so quiet
Chiquitita, tell me the truth Im a shoulder you can cry on Your best friend, Im the one you must rely on You were always sure of yourself Now I see youve broken a feather I hope we can patch it up together
Chiquitita, you and I know How the heartaches come and they go and the scars theyre leaving Youll be dancing once again and the pain will end You will have no time for grieving Chiquitita, you and I cry But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you Let me hear you sing once more like you did before Sing a new song, chiquitita Try once more like you did before Sing a new song, chiquitita
So the walls came tumbling down And your loves a blown out candle All is gone and it seems too hard to handle Chiquitita, tell me the truth There is no way you can deny it I see that youre oh so sad, so quiet
Chiquitita, you and I know How the heartaches come and they go and the scars theyre leaving Youll be dancing once again and the pain will end You will have no time for grieving Chiquitita, you and I cry But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you Let me hear you sing once more like you did before Sing a new song, chiquitita Try once more like you did before Sing a new song, chiquitita Try once more like you did before Sing a new song, chiquitita...
Tamika, if you need anything just call me ok?" he took her back and held her close. I love you girl, I just don't want to say it now...not after what you've been and are going through.

Tamika shrugged lightly and put her head in her hands, "I'll just get it covered with something. I've always wanted a Corpse Bride scene tattoo, it would work well." She sat ranting to herself into her head for the next few seconds, and gave a small whine when she felt Jet pushing her away. She felt her cheeks flush when Jet started to play 'Chiquitita' and sat wondering how in the hell a straight teenage male knew that song off by heart. Of course, she also found it absolutely adorable that Jet was playing it for her. Her happiness was restored more when Jet took her back in his arms. She couldn't really say anything, didn't want to ruin the moment, but in her head she was thinking 'I need you!'. Finally, she gathered the courage to say something along those lines. "Jet, I... Oh bugger!" Tamika jumped as the vibration of her phone started in her back pocket and 'Low' by Flo-Rida started to play. She quickly scrolled down the menu and read the text, and who should it be from but, "Twitch," she muttered. Now, Tamika could have reacted reasonably to this, but she's a teenage girle, so reasonable isn't what she naturally does. Within seconds all that was left of the Sony Ericsson Cybershot was a small pile of ashes.

Ashes. "May you rest in peace," Jet spoke out loud as he stared and the ashes, "Tamika, was that really necessary? I mean, it was just a poor innocent little phone!" He mocked praying for it before looking skywards. It wasn't somehting he usually saw or happen but it was awesome. The earth rumbled and the ashes where swallowed up and gone without a trace. "I mean seriously, what did it ever do to you?" he nudged her playfully.

Tamika smirked and watched the ashes disappear, an act she assumed to be Jet's doing. She then did and over dramatic frown and lip quiver. "You really want to know what it did, Jethro? It killed my dog then ate its brains right in front of me." Ok, even Tamika had to admit that was gross, and she shuddered as she got the mental image. Being serious again, she picked at the loose stitching of her fingerless gloves. "The phone existed as a means of communication between me and people I hate, barr the people I like of course, which is basically only you, Will and Joshua..."

Him? He was.... "Wow, that's eh," short pause, " that's very...sweet of you?" his uncertain tone changed the statement to a question. No one, bar Ryan, had ever counted him as a friend and now here she was, leaning on him in a mess but a beautiful one at that, telling him he was her friend. And it hurt. The truth is out there..and it hurts. He wanted to be so much more to her. To anyone. Nothing would be the same without her. He was blinded by the light. Her power shone magnificently. Though her phone did suffer from it. "Poor thing..." he shook his head.

Tamika was facing forward so she was sure Jet couldn't see the puzzled look on her face. She knew Jet wasn't Mr. Popularity, but he sounded confused about her considering a good friend. She couldn't work out why, so just dismissed the matter completely. Tamika shifted herself a little to get comfier and rest back, with her back on Jet and her head on his shoulder. Absent mindedly, she started to shoot little fireballs up into the air. "So what brought you into the coffee shop today?"

Jet smiled. Random question. "Coffee did. Plus it's the only place I can get comfortable enough and peace to work on new melodies and songs and such," he chuckled as he watched the tiny fireballs disappear. The earth rumbled slightly and then created a wee moving circle of earth balls around the baby fireballs. "Haha," he got up and then yanked her to her feet. She looked shocked and confused but then Jet put his index finger to her lips and then smiled wickedly. He could see everything so clearly. "You ready?" for he had covered her eyes while he had started to make a circular tower and now they were about 20 feet up in the air and everything was in sight. The view was breath-taking. Not as beutiful as the person beside me now. He kept on smiling at her waiting for her reaction.

Tamika stood rigid and slightly scared, yet her face had a permenant expression of curiosity as to just what exactly Jet was up to. She panicked slightly when he covered her eyes, nothing good ever happened when she was unable to see. She felt the ground shake a little beside her and then move upwards. She let out a scream and scrunched her eyes closed, not even wanting to open them when she felt Jet take his hands away from covering them. Every part of her wanted to just keep her eyes squeezed closed sucker punch Jet, but she knew both actions were offended. Slowly, she opened her eyes and looked to see what he had done. All color paled from her face and she yelped a little. "Oh sweet mother of mercy..." She whispered, closing her eyes again.

Jet frowned. He wrapped his arms around her waste. "Tamika, I've got you. You're not gonna do anything except stand and see the whole of the Orchid area, please?" he said in a soothing voice. He took both her hands and squeezed them. "Please," he asked again.

Tamika flinched as Jet put his arms around her waist. It was probably just an unthought gesture from Jet, but it gave her an unusual feeling inside. She sincerely wanted to open her eyes again and enjoy the view, but she couldn't. "Jet," she began shakily, still with her eyes closed, "I would rather kill myself than look, and if you don't somehow get me back down to the ground soon, I will kick you so hard you'll never have children..." She felt bad being so harsh, but that was nothing compared to the dizziness and fear she was feeling.

Jet sighed heavily and slowly rotated them back down to earth... If only she would open her eyes and see what I see. "There you go," he answered her softly. Looking at the time he gave her a quick peck on the cheek. "I've gotta go to the music rooms. How bout we meet up Saturday at two by the Glass Lake?" he called and then was out of her sight. "Such beauty," he sighed happily in a daze.
