Playing with Illusions

At first Nadia couldn't understand why Ienzo was pulling her through the forest at such a speed.
“The rain will put it out. Should be fine” Nadia looked back and finally saw why Ienzo was in such a hurry. A tree had caught on fire...and they had been pretty close to it... Lightening... Oh crap...
Nadia started running too. Occasionally she saw a tree or something that she recognised, it was a comfort to know they were on the right path.
Eventually the trees started to thin a bit more. The lightening had stopped and the rain seemed to be easing up. Nadia shivered again.
"I'm looking forward to that shower" she grinned at Ienzo.

Ienzo breathed a sigh as the tree’s thinned out. The faster they were out of there, the less chance they had of being burnt to a crisp. He didn’t particularly want to have anymore burns on his body. With a new burst of adrenalin fueled speed Ienzo raced towards a tree in the distance. He eyes picked out a line of trees that seemed to be the end of the forest. Looking back and smiling at Nadia,
“That seems to be the end of the forest.” Ienzo grinned, his face lit up by the dim light filtering through the trees form the school. With a last burst of speed they broke through the trees and Ienzo stopped to gasp for breath, hands on his knees.

They had made it out of the forest...finally. Nadia smiled at Ienzo, giving him a quick kiss, before starting to move away.
"I actually have to go... I really want a shower... or a nice long bath..." She smiled at Ienzo before running inside.

"Hey, how bout we meet in the library at about 4ish tomorrow? Sound good?" Ienzo smiled. A bath sounded great right now, and a long sleep, with no interuptions. Aeleus slunk up behind Ienzo and crawled up to his shoulder.
