Will chuckled as the guys stepped back from each other and apologised.
Kilty gave a snort and started to back away. He was getting impatient.
"Whoa boy, calm down. That's great news," she added to Lee.
Kilty bent his head down to scratch his leg, but she knew he was really doing it to get the reins loosened. Instead of doing this Will went forward with him and he had no choice but to scratch.
"Better now?!" Will smiled.
"Hey, why don't get a horse and join us? We're having a blast and you could do with getting out a bit. And don't say you can't ride because it doesn't matter in the slightest!" Will looked at Jude for back and he gave a nod, "See, even Jude agrees with me!"

Jude turned to grin at Lee, who looked a little pale as he looked up at Kilty.
"Um... actually, I was looking for you, Jude."
"Why?" Jude frowned.
"Madeleine was hoping to throw a sort of celebration thing, I think. She wants to talk to you about some arrangements."
"Oh," Jude said brightly. "Really?"
"Yep," Lee smiled, his face glowing.
Jude considered him for a couple of moments. "Er... okay. Sure! Great. I'll just wrap this up with Will, shall I?" He looked over at her hopefully.

"Go and be with you boys," Will answered his expression wistfully. She turned Kilty around and jumped the highest jump there back into the other field and set off around the jumps again.
"Anton, I wish you were here," she whispered to the wind in a painful voice.
