Alice was sitting at a table in the huge dining hall by herself, a plate of food sat in front of her, but every time she looked at it it made her feel queasy. Her vivid, emerald green eyes scanned the room, everyone was with someone except her. She was only new in the school and had only met a total of one person, so she didn't get her hopes up,even though she didn't know the grand total of people in the castle, she always looked to see who it was whenever the doors to the Dining Hall opened in the slightest hope it would be Axel or a familiar face she had passed in the corridor. She had no luck in the matter, she sighed and lifted up the cold sterling silver fork and began poking at the food that was on her plate, she didn't exactly know what it was but she guessed it was potatoes and some sort of 'healthy' green gunk. The sight of it made her stomach turn and she quickly set her fork down and pushed the plate away. Alice had just came own from her dormitory, she spent little time in her dorm and only went in to sleep or to drop her guitar off which she had done minutes ago. Whenever she did go into her dorm, her room mates were either asleep or were out somewhere with their friends. Alice only had one friend and that was her best friend, Axel, he knew what she was going through and promised to meet up with her everyday, he made her happy when she saw him, sometimes they'd play about with their powers and other times they'd just sit and talk. She tapped her fingers on the table, she was wearing red nail polish today which changed from scarlet to crimson in the different tones of light. Alice sat and waited, she didn't know what or who she was waiting for, but shehoped someone would at least show up.
