Jack frowned. What were they gonna do? He honestly wasn't sure... Well, he would've been once. Easy; really. Relived memories. Made new ones. Rugby. Having a bit of craic in Cardsdale. Mal would've met Olivia, of course, and Jack knew just how impressed Mal would be. Now... it was more likely Mal would make some stupid comment, like, "Nice legs for you there, Jacky boy!" or "Score, little bro- if will be when you get round to it!" You know, the kind of thing that would inspire Olivia to give Malcolm a good kick in the- oh, there's an idea... "No idea," Jack smiled. "Something. Probably have a bit of fun, have a laugh, and before you know it, he'll be on his way back to London."

Will frowned. "Why, not...go to the pub or...take him to the pitches or the lake even?" Will threw out some suggestions. Well she didn't know him or what he liked...rugby was about the only thing she did knew he liked, after all, when had Jack not said Mal's name when he had been talking all about rugby. She smiled and took another swip of her Iced tea.

"Aye, yeah..." Jack said slowly. "That works." Another glance at the clock. Seven minutes to go, goddamit! As much as he enjoyed Will's company (after all, they were good mates) he wasn't sure how much longer he could sit here talking to her and waiting for Mal. And what would she think of him, then...? Worse still- what would Olivia think of him...?

Will followed his glance up to the clock. Seven minutes! Argh come on! She started to drum her finger tips on the table. All those times she had waited for Tammy to arrive. Even Cameron and Nick. "Sooo," she asked pondering the subject, "Hey, Jack. I never got a chance to say this but you're here now so I can. Thank you,"

"Thank you?!" Jack started, confused. "Thanks for what?"

Will smiled as she shook her head. "Finding me, silly. Finding me, trying to save, bringing me too the hospital wing were I died and came back. If you hadn't....well, I'm just glad you did otherwise I wouldn't be able to have the chance to murder him in the next battle if you hadn't," She smiled merrily and took another sip. Five and a half minutes to go now, Will thought as her eyes flickered to the clock and back again.

Jack felt his face heat up; taking him aback. He hadn't expected to react like that to her gratefulness. Honestly, he hadn't even considered she could be grateful... Jack dealt with this by taking a extra long swig of his coke, then, taking the bottle from his lips, he got up, and stretched. "I'm tossing the rest of this out," Jack said simply, and turned around, beginning to walk back towards the benches beside the tracks, dropping the half-empty bottle in a bin on the way out.

Will frowned as he walked out the doors to the tracks. "Did I say something wrong....again?" She asked herself and pulling a weird face of confusion. She sighed and drank the rest of her Ice Tea and left a tip on the table hidden under her plate where the cup stood. She quickly followed Jack. "Jack? Jack? Jack?" she called louder last time till he stopped. She quickly caught up to him. "Jack, did I say something to upset you?" Will asked confusion standing out clearly in her voice.

Jack turned, staring at her. "No! No, why would you think that?" It seemed such a strange thing to ask him- oh. Because he left? Right. Okay. Never mind. He shook his head. "Don't be stupid. I'm just excited about Mal coming, is all! I take it-" he paused, "- I take it you wanna meet him?" No doubt. He'd turned Mal into such an idol- such a great God of a brother- that probably half of the school wanted to meet him- just to see what Mal was really like. And, boy, they'd see...

Will stood in thought for a few minutes. Meet the legendary Mal? "Sure, why not?! Got nothing better to do with my time," She smiled faintly. She sighed and sat down on one of the benches watching the bend for the big monstrous piece of metal.

D*mn. So it'd been an answer he'd been expecting... but still, it was a bit of a blow when she said it. "Cool," he grinned. "Watch it though- he might take the mick a bit when he hears you introduce yourself as Vill Vright..." Ruddy Germans just can't speak! Hopefully though, Mal wouldn't get the wrong end of the stick, and start calling Will Jack's 'Hitler Girlfriend' or something awful like that.

Will's mouth dropped when Jack said that. "Jack! You're making fun of my accent?" Will questioned him, "Ooo, you're so gonna get it when we get back to the school!" She narrowed her eyes and gave him a kick on the calf. "Or now," she stuck out her tounge at him and smirked.

Jack burst out laughing. He couldn't help it. It just sounded so bloody ridiculous. "Oh, good God, Vill!" he laughed, clutching his sides. "Can't you hear yourself?"
