Anton walked into the small cosy shop. Insence was burning away and the sweet smell of Honeysuckle filled his lungs. Ahh, this place is nice. Hopefully I'll find the perf...
"May I help you?" Madam Sukie asked.
"Erm, yes, I am here to buy a dress," Anton replied without realising what he ahd just said.
Madam Sukie raised her eyebrow at him.
He looked at her and realised why she was doing it, "I...I mean, I'm here to buy a dress for my girlfriend!" he fixed his wording.
"Ok, what were you planning of?" She walked into the back and brought out about three or four books for him to look through.
"I'm not sure," he looked at the books in her arms and confusion plastered across his face.
"Thought so. Why don't you have a look through these and see which one you think she'll like the best," Madam Sukie slammed them down on the table and walked into the back and busied herself with a dress she was making for someone else. Anton sighed and walked over to the table and sat down in the armchair beside it. He took the book at the top of the pile and started to rumage through it.
An hour later and Madam Sukie came back out.
"Well?"
"I've got a few that she might like. I was actually kind of hoping if I could ask you somehting?" Anton had a look of determination and annoyance on his face.
"Yes?"
"I was going to ask you if you would be able to make a dress for me?"
"I'm sure I could, do you have a style in mind?"
"Yeah, but it's kind of complicated,"
"Oh, I see. Well let's see if we can try and get that idea out of your head and onto a page shall we?"
"Yeah," he followed her into the back which was nearly drowned with all sorts of materials, all of which were very colourful.
"So what do you have in mind?"
"Sort of like an oldenday dress crossed with a modernday corset, if that makes sense?" Anton tried.
"Hmm," Madam Sukie gazed at him."Right I think I know what you mean, leave me the colours you think would suit it and I will try and make it,"
"Red, Purple, Black and Gold threading," he gazed at the ceiling thinking it over in his head.
"Right, come back in a day and see what you think of it so far. I'm going to draw it out first!" she sat on a chair and faced him.
"Okay, thank you," he replied as he walked towards the front of the shop.
"Welcome," she called back as he left the shop.
