Continued from 'Start of the School Year Formal'
Macy followed Holden out from the hall, into the main corridor.
"Holden, wait up!" She shouted. He stopped and she ran up to him, dragging her dress. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just didn't get a good vibe from that girl."
"Hey, that girl is my friend. And head of the warriors, so she'll show you no mercy."
He rolled his eyes, and walked on. They walked in silence for a bit until they came outside and reached the gardens.
"Tonight is so beautiful." She said, trying to change the subject.
"Yeah." He replied, quietly.
Macy stopped in front of him and took a deep breath."Look, I like you. I'm glad that you asked me to go with you, and I'm glad I did. I would have just gone by myself, and that would have crushed my soul, so thank-you for asking me. Okay? Thank-you." She felt pretty helpless after making her speech. She didn't know what he would say. He smiled and picked a flower from the bush that they walked past. He put it in her hair, and she smiled too.
"You're welcome." He said, nicely. They kept on walking and came across a bench that was facing the school. They sat down and looked across the grounds. They were so beautiful. He stood up and took Macy's hand, making her stand up too. He wrapped his arms around her body and held her, tightly. They started rocking from side to side, as if they were dancing to the music that they could hear in the distance.
She felt so safe, there with him. He looked into her eyes, and the moment was perfect. She smiled, and knew that he would lean over slightly, and-
Macy fell to the floor, blacked-out. She heard faint noises of people's voice. She could hear someone getting punched in the distance, and groaning. She tried to open her eyes, but the pain on her back was almost killing her. She made small grunts, trying to regain consciousness, but another large thing hit her again, and she was out.
