Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, THERE MIGHT BE A LOOKING GLASS WARS MOVIE!!! *faints of happiness*
Okay, There is a second book called 'Seeing Redd' which I need to get, I need to get, and there now I went onto the forums in the website (www.thelookingglasswars.com) and people were saying that the screenplay had been written and they are starting casting soon...
So, yes, to those how have not read The Looking Glass Wars, shame on you, but I think I will grant you the pleasure of summing it up..
Well, There's a place called Wonderland where Queen Genevieve rules with her husband, Prince Noland and daughter, Princess Alyss, and on Alyss's 7th birthday, they get attacked by Genevieve's sister Redd, and Alyss and the queen's personal body guard, Hatter Madigan fall thought the Pool of Tears to our world *gasps for breath*. But Alyss and Hatter get split up and she finds herself in London, not having a clue what to do. She gets adopted by the Liddles and meets a person called Rev. Charles Dogeson who says that he believes her stories of Wonderland and says that he wants to write a book on it. Well, this book is completely rubbish, it even spelt her name wrong as Alice. After this, Alyss forces herself to forget about Wonderland and tries to fit in with the upper-class family that she has been adopted into. Then some stuff happens and she's about to marry a prince when her childhood friend Dodge Anders *swoons* comes and saves her and brings her back to Wonderland where she belongs.
So, I won't tell you the ending, but they've got to go thought the Looking Glass Maze and fight Queen Redd and her assassin The Cat, so Alyss can rightfully take her place as the queen of Wonderland.
But- will she succeed? Don't ask me because I still have to read the second book, but whatever.
But seriously, check out the website www.thelookingglasswars.com because it's the coolest website everr!
And if anyone wants to read The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor, either buy it, or if you're a cheap-skate, I'm sure Kira and I are willing to lend our copies.
If anyone wants to add to this, reply, cause I keep getting more ideas about the book, but it's too much for my little brain to write out, so yeah. But I'll probably add to this later.
*dances* There's going to be a movie! There's going to be a movie!
