Name: Tamika Anne Dombrovski Age: 16 (06/11/1992)
Physical Description: Tamika has long, chocolate brown hair. It goes a few inches past her shoulder, and is almost always scraped back into a loose bun. Depending on how much sun there is, her hair lightens and darkens. Her hair is full and thick, and no matter what her body goes through, always has a healthy sheen. Her eyes are a blue-green color, and always rimmed by a thin layer of black eyeliner to bring them out. Her frame is rather petite. She's short, measuring on one hundred and sixty-three centimetres, or five feet and four inches. Despite all the crap and sugar she puts in her system Tamika's weight is only fifty-seven kilograms. Tamika has a couple piercings in her ears and she has a tattoo underneath her belly button (which reads 'Lets fall in love, but keep it quiet').
Clothing Description: Tamika's clothing taste isn't overly noticable. She likes denim skinny jeans or skate shorts. The only jackets she wears at school are her leather jackets, at home, she tends to wear thick parka's. Top wise, she's all about custom t-shirts or Etnies/Vans tops, always with a hoodie. She always has some form of hat on, be it cap, beanie, or helmet... Shoe wise, she's a big fan of Etnies trainers, Vans slip ons, high top Converse and pumps.
Personality: If Tamika finds someone that she really likes, she will fall hard and fast for them in a second. It's just in her nature to be a loving person. She has a theory that because she believes there's too much bad feeling in the world, she tries to create as much love as he can. That's more of an excuse though, as at heart, Tamika is a hopeless romantic.
She'll try to make out to new acquiantances that she's a quiet, meek person, but in actual fact Tamika is pretty bubbly and chatty when she makes friends. She likes to sit and have a good natter with people, and tends to feel paranoid in silence in case she's done something.
Tamika is perfectly capable of looking after herself, she always has been. She had never relied on anyone to get by in life. She finds this one of her best traits, because Tamika doesn't see the fun in having a life completely dependent on other people. People never really expect her to be able to do things for himself.
Ninety percent of the hairbrained things Tamika does end with her shrugging and saying 'well, it seemed like a good idea at the time'. This may as well be the motto she lives by. Tamika hasn't really grasped the concept of thinking before she acts. Or before she speaks. She just generally does things and says things as soon as the thought pops into her head.
Tamika is one of those extremely-optomistic, upbeat kind of people. She never tries to hunt out the negative in people or situations and always believes that good charactistics in things will shine through over the bad. She's incredibly naive in this sense for some people do take advantage in her good nature. The upside of this happiness is that no matter what happens to her, she'll just pick herself back up again and get on with life, with the same happy attitude. She likes to think that sometimes she's one of those people that can walk into a dreary room and brighten it up mood-wise, but knows that's usually not the case.
History: On a typically cold and blustery day back in November, 1991, a young girl was rushed to her general hospital in Yekaterinburg. Within hours of feeling her first contraction, the young girl had given birth to a daughter. The daughter was taken from her whilst she was knocked out from air and gas. The baby given to her new parents, who named her Tamika Anne Dombrovski. Straight from birth, it was not made aware to anyone outside of the immediate family that Tamika's parents were not biological. That was why it was considered even more of a tragedy than normal when, mere weeks later, Tamika's new mother Anastacia took a bad spell of the flu. The in turn became pneumonia, which was unfortunately fatal.
After this day, Tamika was in a single parent family. Her father, Feliks, didn't feel the need to remarry. He took care of the girl well while she was a toddler. However, as soon as his daughter was old enought to care for herself, his attitude change. Feliks was a big drink, he was a walking Russian stereotype. She would take herself off to school and in the evening hang out at her friends house. When she was seven, she made her first best friend in a boy from her neighborhood, Joshua Grusov. He was the youngest child, and so the only one left at home with his parents. His mother was very maternal, and happily let Tamika stay at their house whenever she liked.
Although she would stay out and with her friends family for as long as she could, Tamika still had to go home. Every time she was home, she would be verbally abused by her father. There was constant fighting in the home. It got so bad that eventually, when she was ten years old, Tamika moved to St. Petersburg to live with her aunt Joselie. Joselie was more loving and kind than Feliks had ever been. The downside though was that her guardian was a burlesque dancer in a rough part of town. She would be out most of the night, but Tamika was used to caring for herself and fended well.
When Tamika was twelve years old, Joselie got pregnant with a baby boy. The son was born when Tamika was thirteen and named Mikhail. Tamika adored the little boy, and for a while Joselie calmed down and got out of the exotic dancing business. They lived as a proper little family. Those months were the best of Tamika's young life. Then, with full force, the Terrible Teens finally hit Tamika. She would constantly fight with Joselie, or get nasty little jibs in. During a particularly harsh argument, Tamika accidentally sent a fireball in the direction of her aunts car. This freaked the teenager out, and she cursed her aunt, calling the house she lived in some sort of screwed up witch house. Joselie laughed, and sat the girl down. That was when she explained everything about the matter, including the family shared power of The Shining.
Tamika couldn't grasp this very well, and for days wouldn't talk to anyone in her home. That was when it was decided, just months before her fourteenth birthday, Tamika was sent to Orchid Hill Academy for the gifted.
