Will jumped the hurdles and vaulted over the the gates and weaved in and out of the cones, up the ropes and crossed the finish line. "Now, did everyone get that?" she asked her Carers. "Yes," they rang. "Good, now into four groups and go," Will said and went to take a seat at the end of the hall when a boy came over to her. "Hello? How may I help you?"

Josh pushed open the door to the Battle Training room and watched as his Head, Will, jumped over hurdles in some form of obsticle course. Why those Carers were doing it, he didn't quite know, but he was somewhat certain that he preferred the more taxing battle exercises that the Warriors went through. He waited at the door quietly as he heard Will put the Carers into groups and went to take a seat. Josh grimaced. He'd have to approach her in front of everyone ... and he really, really hated doing that. Maggie was always so much better at this... "Hey, Will," he said, approaching her. "I'm Josh, Josh Cole." Okay, he really hadn't meant to say it in a "The name's Bond. James Bond" way. "I'm just here to ask you about the hospital wing rota - you have me down for Friday afternoon, but I've done it this week, and I have a maths exam."

"Oh, yes well, some of them are sick and I need people to fill in, hmm...everyone get to it," she eyed them all and they quickly rushed of. "Nosey buggers! How about I bump you up to the night shift then, or after the class hours or in the morning. Either way you're going to have to work in it on Friday, I'm afraid..." Will frowned. She hated doing this but they had to ahve the practise. Egen she was doing this. They were all in this together. "Anyway, why are you late? You're supposed to be doing this!" she glared at him.

Josh hid his scowl as Will glared at him. Well, forgive me for needing to do coursework... "I was here yesterday," he said quietly and tiredly. "I've worked three days at the hospital this week," - which, might he add, was totally unfair, considering most people only worked one -"and I've had Battle Training with Madeleine. I've been at every meeting, and I'm really behind on work, which is the other reason I came to see you. Can I skip out this one, please?" Because for some reason, he felt that homework was more important that jumping over hurdles. But he'd never say it. Maggie would - but he wouldn't.

"Fine, I'll let you of work this week and you can miss this practise. But it is important you know, you need to keep your fitness up in case another battle comes. We all need to heal quickly and get people out of harms way and so on so it's important," Will softened her voice. She gave him a quick smile and put her heads in her hands. Maybe she was going to hard on them. "Forgive me," she said quietly to no one in particular.

"It's fine," he said automatically. "And I am keeping up with fitness. I'm doing training with the Warriors, it's hard going."

"Hmph, she lets you guys go train with the Warriors but not me, I see, that's the way she wants to play fine!" she muttered angrily to herself. She looked up at Josh, "Sorry for being hard on you, I'm trying to sort out my thoughts and it's been kind of hard for me," He doesn't know what I'm going through, nop one really does and I hate them all and I just wish I WISH THEY COULD ALL GO AND...anger manangment maybe? "Shut it brain!"

Josh ignored the last comment, feeling uncomfortable at what Will had just said about finding it hard. He felt sorry for her at having lost her boyfriend, of course he did... but talking about it with her was a totally different matter. He was too shy, though he hated it. He just wasn't good at talking about feelings. "I'm sorry," he said uncomfortably.

"It's fine, so what are you going to do at the weekend?" she asked brightening up. She was hoping to make Josh feel less uncofortable and easier for him to talk to her and vice versa.

Josh glanced towards the door, still a little uncomfortable. He really needed to do his coursework, and he knew that Maggie would probably be waiting for him in the library. "Coursework," he answered. "I'm really behind."

"Jeesh, I'll let you go then and try to get caught up on it as quickly as possible. Good luck," Will put a hand on his shoulder and walked of to one group that was starting to struggle. "Come on guys, you can do it, keep it up," she encouraged them. She looked up and smiled at Josh.

Josh hid a wince at Will's touching him - he had a thing about that. Well, she couldn't know that, really... "Thanks," he said, in his quiet voice, before leaving.
