Flurry of the dancing flames

[Axel]

Axel's eyes flickered back and forth around the room. It was relatively large and spacious, the walls had been painted white to try to give the illusion that the room was bigger and it failed miserably as the room had been coated with sugar paper with posters and leaflets that were either scorched, dripping wet,smoking,blown off the walls or had ivy growing around them. His eyes had toned down a bit since they had met Alice in the forest, they were still vibrantly blue, but toned down into a watery blue and looked like soft pools of water as they had lost their electricity. His skin was still unnaturally pale, but had little of a moon-like glow to it as he was indoors with man made lighting. There was no pink on his nose anymore, it had returned to it's usual colour as there was no irritatingly cold breeze nipping at it. Axel sighed with boredom as he rested his head back on the wall behind him, his hair had managed to stay in perfect condition even with the wind outside and him pressing it to the wall, it was still sitting down as if he had just brushed it. The room consisted on only few students who were spread randomly throughout the seats, most were talking to each other whilst two students were battling it on at the front of the room everyone was with someone except for Axel. Subconsciously he touched the silver key that hanging around his neck on a silver chain, it was boiling hot, but it did not burn him as he was used to the feeling of his skin being on fire everyday. He could only learn one element in this school as they did not offer to teach his other element, the one that everybody feared,the one that was most dangerous, the one that was left uncontrolled, the one that would most likely devour him. It was best that no one knew about that side of him, it was best if he forgot about it himself as if he thought about it and welcomed it into his heart, no mercy would be spared and he would be lost forever. Axel shuddered at the thought and immediately distracted himself from the subject as he noticed that the two students up at the front were finished. The teacher looked around for two more volunteers and Axel kept silent. This was his first class and who knew what would happen if he got too carried away or his other powers got caught in the action. How could he live with himself knowing that he'd killed another person? He was wearing a pale blue t-shirt with a picture of the cookie monster on it from Sesame street, a pair of baggy denim jeans and on his feet were a pair of green all star converse. Axel avoided eye contact with the teacher as he prayed that it wouldn't be him.

Will stood there watching two of her classmates go up against each other demonstrating how they could use their elemantal powers to either hurt, kill or catch an enemy if they ever needed too.
The last battle had went well...well as well as it could go unless you counted the students hurt, dead or like Madeleine, dying. Anton had been one of those killed but she knew he was at peace.
The teacher's voice made her come zooming back to reality. She missed what he had said but now he was scanning the room, which meant he was looking for people to demonstrate next. Will had neglected to put her hand up for voluteering the previous times so she was one of the last ones to go.
"Will, up here now," the teacher ordered and she concurred.
As she made her way up a boy caught her eye. He was wearing a pale blue t-shirt with a picture of the cookie monster on it from Sesame street, a pair of baggy denim jeans and on his feet were a pair of green all star converse, his hair was blonde and his wyws were noticibly blue. He was kind of hot but he was like a shadow. The only thing that would give him away would be his hair.
She stood in the centre of the room and waited for the teacher to pick someone else to join her.
Please not him, please not him... she repeated this over in her head. She wasn't scared of him but he looked strong and well advanced in her powers. Like Misa had, they both had been quiet and stood still and didn't stand out much but when Misa had taken the stage, Will had been outsmarted and Misa had defeated her, they had only drawn because Misa hadn't counted on Will setting the whole area up in flames.
Hurry up and pick someone, but not him! but it looked like she was out of luck.

[Axel]

Axel remained still, with his head pressed against the wall desperately avoiding eye contact with the teacher as their eyes scanned the room. The paused and studied Axel for a moment, dread filled him as he closed his eyes shut and thought,not me. not me. Anyone but me. it didn't work as it drew even more attention to himself. 'Axel, are you sleeping?'they shouted at him from across the room, Axel slowly opened his eyes and looked at them,"No, but i wish I was." he said,dread and sadness clinging to each and every word but apparently the the teacher took it the wrong way."Get down here boy this instant!"they screamed at him, he merely looked at them and sighed. He got up and made his way to the teacher, prolonging each step to make it seem like he had to wait longer to do this and he also enjoyed the colour the teacher's face was turning. It oddly brought him joy to see their face turn as red as a tomato and he could of sworn that he saw a pulsing vein above their right eyebrow. He could not walk any slower, if he did he would be stationary and he finally made it to the front of the room. "There will be no talking back in my classroom, do you hear?" shouted the teacher again at him. "Sure." muttered Axel as he took his place. In front of him was a girl, a rather pretty one he had to admit and there was no denying it. Might as well introduce ourselves,' he muttered as he heard the teacher disappear. 'I'm Axel. he held out his hand and smiled, revealing both rows of his perfectly straight white teeth as he suddenly found his cheerful self again once the teacher had disappeared.

Great, just what I didn't want.
"I'm Axel," the boy before her held out his hand as he smiled those perfectly white and straight teeth.
"I'm Will," she put a fake smile on her face. Those teeth are too Levi-ish. She shook his nice warm and smooth hand.
"So, have you been here long? I don't think I have seen you before."
Will moved an inch closer and she made a fireball along the way.

[Axel]

((lets keep it clean and not god-mode each others charries, okay?))

Axel watched Will as she made the fireball,he laughed,"A bit eager are we?". Axel jumped to the right,almost so fast it was unnoticeable and dodged the fireball. He smiled and shrugged,"Only just arrived three days ago, what about you?" he asked inquisitively before continuing,"You know, I don't get why he's putting fire against fire 'cause all you're gonna get is a bigger fire." Axel looked down onto the ground for a second before holding out his arms, each on side by side of him almost making a t-shape. Suddenly balls of fire emerged in his hands and hovered just inches away from his opened hands. Axel kept his eyes on the ground and jumped high into the air,pushing hard on his feet before slamming them on the ground. A wave flew through the air,everything it touched ignited before their eyes. The solid ground he had been standing, only a minute ago turned into to molten,that of which found coming out of a volcano. Huge,roaring flames spread up the walls,enclosing them in their battlefield.
Axel lifted his head and grinned,"I bet now would be the time to say burn,baby,burn!"

((That is unless this turns into a never ending war...lol)

[Will Wright]

Will smiled secretly to herself impressed by his power useage.
She stepped onto the molten lava with him and then her arms flew up into the airand a wall of fire sperated them, she knew axel couldn't see where she was so she took the time and quickly sunk into the lava.
She could feel the heat radiating from Axel and she knew her plan wouldn't do much good.
"Change of plan!" she said to herself and she suddenly started to make fists and unclenched them. She used her molecular combustion power to make the ground up above her explode.
She was creating a mine field.

[Axel]

Axel watched carefully as the wall of fire emerged from the ground, he smiled good tactic he thought to himself as he stood there. He couldn't see where she had gone, that was if she was still on the other side of that wall, but if she was, what was she doing? Axel had to control the sudden urge to run through the wall and break through it, it wouldn't hurt that much, it would just be a sting but he refused to and just stood there. He was like a sitting duck, but ducks couldn't fly and neither could he, he just had to exploit his tricks on foot. Axel stood and waited silently,not moving. Suddenly the ground beneath him began to rupture into miniature explosions like a mine field, the first one caught him off guard and he only managed to move away in the nick of time as it brushed only centimeters away from his body. He was uncommonly fast and was able to dodge through each explosion with ease, he laughed and found this exercise to be great fun, suddenly one of the explosions had hit the wall, disorientating it a bit, Axel's pale blue eyes sparked with excitement as they scanned for Will but she was nowhere to be seen and thats when it struck him. She could only be in one place as his fiery prison had locked them where they could not escape unless on his word. Axel stopped dead, his eyes darkened into royal blue as a thought came into his head, 'No....I can't...she'll die' he was nearly hit by another explosion, but he didn't take notice, he just stood there, unmoving. 'Sure you can, all you have to do is say that one simple word and everything will return to normal.'whispered a cool voice in his head. ”No..I won't.”decided Axel sternly, but the voice continued, not listening to him,'Everyone will think she popped herself back home, it'll be easier for you if you just turned the floor back...', ”I said No!”shouted Axel, a piercing pain shot through his head, making him grasp it with his left arm. He ignored it, he had to and held his arms out in front of him as if he was about to dive, red flames wrapped themselves around his wrists and swirled around his arms up to his elbows, it wasn't over and Will couldn't get away with winning just because he feared killing her. Axel jumped and dove head first into the molten, it didn't sting or blister him at all but was surprisingly cooling to his boiling hot skin, it was hard to see with through the amber molten, but he waved his arms about and managed to catch a grip onto something or someone. He prayed it was Will and began pulling back to the surface, when he got his head out from under the molten he smiled ”'C'mon Will, be fair. I got bored with you hogging the action and how exactly are we meant to get graded if the teacher can't see us?”Axel laughed and hoped that she would return to the surface, after all he hated swimming and molten always seemed to stick to his skin like butter.

A big swooshing sound told her that Axel had come underneath.
Something nicked her or someone but it went away.
Then she heard Axel calling for her to come up.
If that's what you want, then that's what you'll get!
With that she wound the lava around her and decreased the temperature so that it became solid. She then used her power to make the lava explode while also making her tower soar up through the lava and high above the surface.
"You wanted me, now you have me!" she called through her solid transparent cacoon.
She then emitted whips of fire out of nowhere so that her tower had lots of defence and offence if Axel tried to come near her.
"How you like me now?" she asked in a high pitched voice.

[Axel]

Axel watched her as she showed off her skill, after she performed her trick, he felt a little funny. he felt almost as if he was about to be ill, but ignored it, he couldn't get sick during this game. The explosion cause a wave of lava to form, but he merely held his opened hand and it turned solid, the strange sensation stayed with him, this time it was as if he was shivering, one, two, three, he counted them as they spread around his body, a ringing began to form in his ears and then all of the sudden it stopped. Axel didn't feel strange anymore,whatever it was, it was gone. The wave of solid lava hovered above him, frozen in time and blocked him out of her view so he quickly maneuvered himself in front of it and looked at her. She had planned this so perfectly, he knew in his head what he was going to do, but his body wasn't going to cooperate with it. Axel tilted his head to the left and studied her for a moment and all the glory she had created before her. "I don't know,at the beginning we were acquaintances, but right now, I think we're edging onto friendship, don't you?" Axel paced up left and right in front of her and paused midway. His eyes had turned that deep shade of royal blue again and he resembled darkness, he grinned softly, before saying, "Oh Will, you don't know that half of what you've got yourself into."he laughed darkly as he stepped back. Suddenly what seemed to be a pool of darkness arose from the ground, it was in the shape of an upright egg and black, indigos and midnight blues flowed through it. It resembled a fire in the way it moved with flames growing up the sides of it, Axel grinned darkly before looking at Will and saying,"Don't fear the darkness, you'll have to give in sooner or later." With that he walked backwards into the pool and it devoured him, suddenly it disappeared and he was no where to be seen.

The room went silent, except for the crackling and snaps coming from the lava. Suddenly Axel reappeared, this time out of no where, he had transported himself to behind Will. He was standing the the tower behind Will, only millimeters away, he smiled, this time it was a different smile, not his usual friendly one,but a dark smile, one that lured you in like a predator did it's prey. "Boo."he whispered in her ear, "Let's see what's in the menu..hmm, I was thinking that we should have a surprise for a change. Get a sense of adventure in our lives.." he whispered as he pulled back the strands of hair covering her ear. Axel stepped back a bit as the tiny tower couldn't hold much room and wasn't meant for two people. He grinned as his hair slowly turned into scarlet instead of his usual blonde and his eyes changed to an electric green as danger pulsed through them. Two big disks appeared in his hands, they were crimson and had four large titanium spikes coming out of them, the center of the disks were missing and two criss-crossed crimson bars were placed in the middle, strengthening th disks. The disks were made out of complete titanium-the hardest metal in the world and cannot be destroyed by fire,water or anything due to it's high covalent bonds in it's molecular structure. Red flames entwined themselves around the disks and so did black one's two, as Axel rotated them with his hands. he grinned and said, "Get a load of this!" Axel plunged them into Will's back and they went through her, but didn't come out the other side, he rotated them around and around, they had ignited quickly as they delved into her body, clearly this would of been extremely unbearable having your insides roasted and churned around like food in a blender that was in an oven.

"Aaaah, uh, ugh," Will leaned further back without meaning to. She was now arched. Her legs gave way and she toppled over the edge and hit the lava hard.
Blood started to come out of her ear and nose. She felt...pain. It wasn't the end, oh no, far from it.
Get up, you can do it, come on!
I'm hurt and in a lot of pain. I can't move.
You're Head of the Carers.
I know...
That gives you the ability to....?
Self Heal!
Will focused all of her energy and strength. Her neckalce gave of heat and started to vibrate against her skin. This was it, she was tapping into her power again and the power of her necklace.
Suddenly she was lifted into the air by a pair of invisible arms and emitted and golden glow. She was healing. She was living. She was gonna take him down whatever the cost.
Will used her fire power to soar through the air and up behind Axel. She then used her explosion power to his blades and it worked. He was caught of guard by the force and they clattered to the ground below them.
"Just you and me Axel, come to the right side, or else prepared to face a pissed Head!" she warned. She would stand her ground whatever the cost.

[Axel]

Axel looked at her skeptically, wondering what the hell just happened, he didn't feel himself anymore. It was like something else had taken over his body, Axel's eyes grew darker and darker, it was too bright in this room he looked up at studied the lights hanging above them and suddenly shot his hand up into the air, a huge stream of flames came shouting out of his hand, causing the glass protecting the lights to expand and shatter, creating the pieces to go falling down over them, Axel had burnt the bulbs and they had broke, making the room pitch black. He had extremely well eyesight in the dark and could see Will clearly and he could see his weapons, he reached out his hands to them and they disappeared and reappeared, firmly clasped in his hands, the black flames twisted up his arms. "I don't know what you're talking about, I am on the right side'replied a velvety voice, not his own, his silver key hung freely around his neck, but had slowly turned to black in the duration of the exercise. Axel laughed and another pool of darkness popped up and he stepped in side. This time Axel dint come out of it, but was submerged in the darkness, he was no where to be seen. Suddenly Axel threw his ignited disks at Will, this time they were completely covered in roaring flames, they hit her and quickly returned to their owner as Axel moved around the room, not making a sound.

Slice!
They hit her hard on the side of her body and the left calf. She winced and clutched her side but healed herself again.
The room was pitch black and there wasn't much noise except that of the students and her breathing.
She clapped her hands and a fire surrounded the walls making a barrier or a trap so no one could escape. She caught a glint of silver and dropped to the floor. The blade went whizzing past and she got up again.
This time she didn't use fire or her explosion power but her premonition power.
"I know what you're going to do and it's not going to work!" she called out.
She knelt down and touched the ground with her palms and focused. She could sense the his heat again. This time instead of attacking further she drained enough of the heat from his body so that he was very cold.
"Fire power isn't much use and darkness won't help....much," she smirked secretly. Hopefull he would take the bait.

[Axel]

"Hmm...so this is what it feels like to be cold.." his voice echoed through the room, but he was no where to be seen, he was determined not to give up. He was cold, really cold, but he had gone too far now and if only he could use that to his advantage.... Axel smirked and decided against it, suddenly fifteen huge spears came flying out of the ceiling and all the four walls, they were black and had balls of fire at the tips of them, Axel watched Will carefully, studying her every move as the spears came crashing down,but he stopped them. All fifteen hovered inches away from her, all pointed at her,each ready to kill. Axel remained in the darkness,amused by the sight of this he laughed and echoed throughout the room giving it an eerie sound yet not giving away where he was,"Says Will, the young guy who fears the darkness. Her heart was broken when he beloved boyfriend died...so much potential, yet you throw it all away..."

"Says Will, the young girl who fears the darkness. Her heart was broken when her beloved boyfriend died...so much potential, yet you throw it all away..." his voice was eerie and creepy.
The spikes struck no fear in her nor did his voice. She stood rooted to the spot and didn't move.
Next thing she was under the ground...again.
"Think Will, think!" Will said frantically to herself, "This is not the time or place to lose your cool!"
Then it hit her...
"Ok," she rose from the ground, "Take me darkness I insist, I'm not scared of you...it,"
The only way to win was to lose to the one thing that was holding her back.
Axel.

"Very well then, if you wish it."said Axel as he watched Will. "I want you to do everything I ask you to everything I ask you to, is that Clear?" she nodded and he smirked. "Right I want you to click you heels together three times and say 'there no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home." Axel sniggered and continued,"What did you think would happen?" he asked, getting angry now,"You stupid, arrogant, insolate girl!" he screamed at her, he was still ice cold and used it towards his advantages. With a wave of his hand, he dropped the temperature of the spears until they were frozen and began slashing her with them. One by one, they cut through her like icy knives, chilling her to the bone, one by one until the fifteen had disappeared.
