This was it. Her first time out of the bed since...since. Well you know when. It was going to be painful, she knew that much was true. She knew that if she didn't try then she wouldn't get better more quickly.
"Easy now, take your time Will," The matron's soft voice hung in the air.
"Ok," Will took a deep breath in and a slow breath out, "Keep breathing, that's the key, breathe."
She swung her legs over the bed and hopped down with less grace than she had hoped for.
"Easy," Nurse Gornray repeated.
"Sorry, you know me, always on the move when I can and want," Will laughed.
Nurse Gornray gave a slight chuckle, "Yes, you are....but now you have to be slow, don't amke me make that an order,"
"I won't don't worry," Will smiled.
She took one step forward and the next and the next. She could move her legs again. Well properly move them.
"It looks like the poison's effect has finally worn of," Nurse Gornray observed.
"Thankfully, I like my legs," Will sat down on the chair beside her bed and hugged her legs protectively.
"Haha, well of course you would, I'd say you'd be able to leave the hospital wing in a couple of more days time,"
"What? No, please make it a weeks time," Nurse Gornray looked at her alarmed.
"My dear, why?"
"Please?"
"Will what's the matter with you?"
"Please, matron, please?" Will pleaded.
"I'll see, but I want to have a word with you in my office tonight," Nurse Gornray gave on of her most peircing stares.
"Fine, I will, but please make it next week?"
"I said we would see, didn't I?"
"Yes, you did,"
"You know I always think things through first before I make my final descision," Norse Gornray's facial expressions softened.
"Thank you,"
"You're welcome Will." she turned to leave but Will stopped her.
"Can I walk around the place?"
"As long as you stay near the hospital wing. I'm not entirely sure you've rcovered enough,"
Will's face lit up. Nurse Gornray gave a fraction of a smile before turning around and heading of to another patient.
Now all Will was waiting for was....Vistoria and Adam.
Blasted Godparents.
