Tamika walked into the familiar wing of the school, sighing as she realised the last time she was here was when Brad had been attacked. Shaking her head she strolled over to the matron. 'Evening matron," she smiled. The older woman looked up at her. "Oh, hi Tamika. What can I do you for?" "In to see Will, that alright?" "Yep, she's just over there," the matron returned, nodding in the direction of a bed. "Thanks, catch'ya later." Tamika walked over to the bed she had been directed to and sighed. This was the first time she had seen Will since the stabbing, and she felt a little guilty she hadn't got their sooner. Taking her jacket off she sat down beside the bed. "Hey Will," she said softly.

Not again! Everybody just doesn't want me to sleep! Will groaned and turned to face her non-biological sister. "Hey sis, took you long enough!" Will snapped. What? She hadn't been able to sleep since Jude came to visit her about Steve. She was grumpy, upset and in a great deal of pain today.

"Sorry love, loads of stuff just seemed to happen whenever I planned to come see you. Better late than never though, eh?" She gave a meek smile. Looking at Will it was obvious she wasn't in the best of moods. No wonder... Shut up thoughts. "Want me to come back later, Will?"

"No, no, stay. Sorry, it's not been the best time for me, at least you can't blame me...well not for anything important anyway," Will smiled meakly.

"Wouldn't proper blame you for anything anyways, only in jest," she smiled. "So are you any better or much the same?"

"Well I've only got a scar left now. But the inside is still healing. I guess that's what you get when you die for a minute or less," Will shrugged. Today she wasn't even gonna bother trying to sit up. Too painful!

Tamika's mouth dropped in shock, "What?! Geez, I hadn't realised it was that serious. So does the matron have an estimate time for when you can leave the wing yet?"

Will glared at her for a second then smiled. "Yes, that serious and nice move on there, either the end of this week or next," she lowered her voice just audible enough for Tamika to hear, "I hope it's the latter," Tamika turned her head to the side and her face scrunged up in confusion. "The last choice," Will chuckled then stopped relising it wasn't a good idea.

"I know what latter means Will, we do have schools in Russia," she joked. Tamika thought for a moment before deciding the best thing to do would be ask. "How come you hope it's next week?"

"Firstly I don't want to be in classes, secondly I don't want to be bombarded with how are yous'? and are you oks? thirdly I like it here, it's peaceful and quiet anf fourthly, I just want to rest and clear my head of unwanted thoughts," Will rhymed her list of. Whoa, I am being secretive and not wanting to be around people...not good!

Tamika nodded in agreement, "Fair enough, if I were in your situation I'd probably want that too. You want anything brought here from your room? Books, magazines, anything of the like?"

"Nope, but you could always get me...." Will stopped. No, bad idea don't do it! Shut up brain, what do you know? Wait stupid question, don't answer that. Trust me on this one, you don't want to do it... Fine, I won't. "Never mind, no," Will finsihed.

"Okey doke love," Tamika smiled, trying to think of conversation topics. "Y'know, I suck at hospital conversations. It's like when Jos- Mum broke her ankle and I was sitting in the waiting room with her boss," she laughed.

"Haha, you're finally calling her mum, what made you change your mind?" Will clamped down on the pain with an iron discipline.

"Dunno really. I'm still not talking to her, well, I've emailed her. Guess I just wanna try and get things to some form of normality," she shrugged.
