Will stared at Madeleine for a moment before drowning in her own thoughts, She was suddenly pulled out of them when she heard a scream. They rounded the corner but it was only a pair of girls a couple of years below them.
"Stupid," she sighed.

Madeleine frowned at the girls below. Her hand was already at her waist, where she still kept her dagger secretly, close to her skin. "I agree. Want me to use my scary Head of Warriors voice and get them to go away?"

Madeleine laughed. "I only said that because that one is one of my Warriors - and besides, all of them are scared of me. First years. Someone told them that Levi and I are the scariest people in the school."

"Sure," Madeleine chuckled, jumping down the stairs two at a time.
The girls glanced up at her and Will, looking immediately guilty and scared.
"Keep it down, guys?" Madeleine said, using her "Head" voice. "There's sick people in the hospital wing, they need peace to recover. So, can you move away from here, please?"
The girl that wasn't in the Warriors immediately looked terrified, and the Warrior - Rayne - looked like she was definitely not about to argue.

"Yes, some are still recovering from the battle, plus visiting time are over anyway, so scadaddle!" Will followed up.
The girls rushed off.
"Well that was...less fun than I had hoped for!" Will admitted.

Madeleine shook her head briefly, glancing down the stairs and thinking with a hidden grin of the time Shaun got a detention for sliding down the banister.
Fiddling with a strand of her hair, she turned to Will again. "So, any plans for the week ahead?"
