Anton walked over to Will's bed. She was asleep for the moment but Anton didn't care, he would stay here until she woke up.
"You are so cute when you're asleep," he said softly stroking her hair. He got up and walked around the place. Will stirred and he turned to face to see if she was waking up but she wasn't.
"Why did this have to happen? To Macy and you? Why can't this war just stop. It's stupid anyway," he cursed and saw that Will's jug of water was empty, so he walked over to the sink when he saw some pure orange juice, he decided to fill it up with that instead. He walked back over to her bed to find her awake.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" he set down the jug down and sat down on the bed beside her.
"Painful, funnily enough." she smiled.
"Haha, I brought you some pure orange juice if you want some?" Anton saw Will's face drop slightly, "What is it, what's the matter? should I go and get the nurse?"
"No, it's just..."she let out a big long sigh, "It's just, I can't have anything to do with orange. I'm allergic," she felt sore all over and very, very tired. "Madam Gornray says I have to stay in here for four days, which I think is great and bad," Anton looked at her as though she was mad.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"What?"
"It's nothing,"
"Fine, don't tell me. Did you get my message?"
"About taking over as head of the Carers while you're in here, yeah I got it. What do you want me to do?"
Will told him all about the premonition she had while she was unconscious.
"So will you try and find out what that means for me?"
"I'll try my best,"
"Thanks,"
"No problem. Will I like you,"
"I like you too,"
"No that's not what I mean!"
"Then what do you mea...oh,oh,oh." Will was stunned and she had no idea what to say.
"Erm, yeah. Well we've been here for nearly a month now and well, I've liked hanging out with you in that amount of time!"
They stared at each other for some time, not moving , not blinking, not anything. Will was the first to break eye contact. She had no idea what to do or say; she was trying to think of how to save Macy and handle with this news at the same time.
"I don't know what to say Anton, I really don't,"
"Ok let me ask you a question. Will you be my girlfriend?" Anton looked anxious.
Will sighed, she really didn't know what to say.
"I'm sorry Anton..." he was crestfallen, "I'll have to think about it," he smiled again.
"It's ok, I just hope you get better soon,"
"So do I," she smiled and they started to laugh. She looked up at the window and thought she saw somebody. She stopped laughing and so did Anton.
"What is it?"
"I thought I saw somebody at the window," Will blinked, "Must be going crazy,"
Anton looked up but no one was there.
"Will there's no one there," he told her slowly uncertain of what her reaction would be, but Will had her eyes closed and she was bent over, in pain or something else he did not know but she suddenly pushed him out of the way as two gunshots sounded. Anton landed flat on his face, the floor was cold. He pushed himself up of the floor and whizzed around to shout at Will but what he saw frightened him.
"Will, oh my god.WILL!" he grabbed her and held her up as her head lolled on his arm. Blood was pouring from her right upper arm and her stomach.
"OH FOR GOD'S SAKE SOMEBODY HELP!" Will was oblivious to everything and anything, she saw a bright light and she was following.
Anton turned his head as he heard a cracking noise. Professor Hoodham rushed over to his side and called for Madam Gornray. They started to work on her. Professor Hoodham took Anton to the side and started asking him questions.
"What happened?"
"I don't know. Will said she thought she saw someone at that window, I looked and saw no one, I turned back round to tell her and she had her eyes closed and she was bent over like she was in pain. Then she just pushed me off the bed and I heard big bangs and I turned round and saw her like this,"
"She had a premonition of what was going to happen, she saved your life!" Professor Hoodham told him to return to his dormitory and set back to help Madam Gornray.
