Major EDIT
Ari's song has been changed - something that was kind of necessary, considering I found one that was just about FATE. It just works for... everything - Orchid, Kirihant, the war, his family... It's Iris, by the Goo Goo Dolls.
And I'd give up forever to touch you 'Cause I know that you feel me somehow. You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be And I don't want to go home right now. And all I can taste is this moment, And all I can breathe is your life, 'Cause sooner or later it's over, I just don't want to miss you tonight. And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am. And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming Or the moment of truth in your lies. When everything feels like the movies... Yeah, you'd bleed just to know you're alive. And I don't want the word to see me 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am.
I luff it so XD

I love doing this sort of thing... For Madeleine's song; I think that Let The Flames Begin by Paramore really works for her - about the war, and pride in general. Some of the lines reflect Shaun's death and how she wasn't able to stop it just by being there, but even after that there's still hope for her, and for life (I can't let myself.... buried beneath it all).
What a shame we all became such fragile broken things A memory remains just a tiny spark I give it all my oxygen to let the flames begin To let the flames begin Oh, glory, Oh, glory! This is how we'll dance when, when they try to take us down This is what will be, oh, glory Somewhere weakness is our strength and I'll die searching for it I can't let myself regret such selfessness My pain and all the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope buried beneath it all and... Hiding beneath it all and... Growing beneath it all and This is how we'll dance when, when they try to take us down This is how we'll sing it. This is how we'll stand when, when they burn our houses down This is what will be, oh, glory
About Shaun, I also thought of Slipped Away by Avril Lavigne, for the obvious reasons.
I've had my wake-up, Won't you wake up? I keep asking why...
Also, 10 Years Today by Bullet For My Valentine is her more angry moments about Shaun (e.g. Betrayal)
On and on although you're gone, candles burn without a flame on Our final call to you, I know you're listening How could you leave us that way? Where did you go? Where did you go?
There was a really perfect Shaun song, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is, so I'll modify this to put it back in later.
Ashes and Wine by A Fine Frenzy was her song during Lee's memory loss, as posted a while ago, but I think I should only post songs that don't apply to a certain point in her life, just her life in general.
P.S. Great songs! And Arihant, I love Hope For The Hopeless; it's beautiful, isn't it?
