Will threw herself down on her bed and Terrico jumped up lightly onto her knees in his usual form of a fox.
"Hey boy, haven't seen you in some time, where have you been?" Will asked as she gently massaged his head with her fingers.
The fox just curled up into a ball and looked up at her through his big round brown amberish eyes.
"Never mind, I'm glad you're here now though. Where is our other dearest?"
Just then a whooshing noise sounded from the window and Coashea was looking in at them.
"Hey girl. Long time no see," she picked up the fox and carried him over to the window.
Hi Will, I'm sorry Terrico and I haven't been to see you in a long time...we've been held up,.
Will stared at both of them but didn't ask. She was too caught up in her own thoughts to know what they had been up to at this moment and time.
"What am I going to do?" she asked herself out loud.
She walked over to her bed and lay down again. There was another whooshing noise and her theastrel had landed on one of the schools roofs.
"How can I lead? How can I do this? Terrico, nobody is left!2 she cried out.
The fox jumped back but lay back down on her legs again.
Will, you know that's not true. You still have me and Coashea and your Godparents not to mention Tamika and your other friends.
"Yes, but that's not the same! I need a proper boyfriend, a friend a can truly rely on, someone to talk to and take comfort in. Terrico, I need my parents!" she said in a frustrated voice.
She swung her legs over the bed and walked over to the desk in their room.
"Maybe homework will calm me down," she muttered. She took out her german homeowrk and tried to do it again but her brain refused to function.
She ran her fingers through her hair and screamed.
"Why?"
She went into the bathroom and paced around. Her stomach gurgled and she felt really hot and sweaty but she kept her stomach from throwing up its contents as much as it wanted to. She needed to calm down but she couldn't.
"I need you guys!" she sobbed.
Her brains thoughts were telling her to do stuff that she knew she wouldn't or couldn't. Then something suddenly dawned to her.
"The letter!" she ran to her trunk and threw the lid open and emptied its contents all around her bed until she found what she was looking for.
She unlocked the little metal box and searched through it until she found the letter in such a familiar handwriting it was like they were still there...beside her. Maybe they were in spirit. She walked back over to the bathroom and locked the door and sat on the mat in the middle and slit it open, revealing a locket and a small peice of paper with some words on it.
She took the slip of paper and her heart froze. Then it raced.
How?
What?
Huh?
She opened the locket as the writing instructed her to do at the very end of the letter and gasped at what she saw.
Her with her mum and dad when she was about three or four, on one side and on the other side, Anton sitting there with Will over his shoulders kissing him on the cheek.
She remembered giving these pictures to him. She picked up the envelope and looked inside to find the pictures in their full size.
She smiled and held them to her chest.
"I never will," she said in reply to what was on the note.
