Coashea was hovering outside the dorm window waiting for Will. She slowly leaned over and looked in. Madeleine was sitting on her bed playing the guitar, she wanted to listen but there was no time. She gave the window a sharp tap and opened it.
"Hey, Madeleine, come here I want to show you something," she called through.

Madeleine heard a sharp tap, and nearly dropped her guitar when she saw Will hovering outside the window on a giant Theastral.
She carefully put her guitar in the stand, ignoring Will's urgent taps, and then opened the window.
"You scared the life out of me, Will," she said, leaning against the windowsill. "What is it?"

"Madeleine, thank god I found you and sorry about that. I want and need to show you something, come on. Please?" she said desperately looking into Madeleines eyes, hoping beyond hope she would come.

"Em, sure," Madeleine said, frowning. "Hold on a minute."
She ran over to her bed and pulled on a pair of olive-green Converse, then jumped on to the window ledge and neatly stepped off, hovering in mid-air.
Feeling the usual high of floating on the air, feeling light and weightless, she answered Will's questioning look with; "Air powers".
She looked at Will. "Right, what is it?"

Will looked at Madeleine strangely as she saw her floating in mid air.
"Air powers." She looked at Will. "Right, what is it?"
"Come on I want to show you something." she turned around to face Coashea's head with Terrico curled up in a ball.
"Right Coashea you know where to go!" and with that she went forward with a burst of speed about her. Will turned to look at Madeleine who was a tiny bit behind.
"Hey, Coashea, ease up a tiny bit ok?!" she put out her hand and felt a certain heat radiating from somewhere in the forest below. "Go down as far as you can, I need to get a better reading,"
Coashea descended a bit. Will felt the heat better. "Do you feel that?" she asked Madeleine.

"Well, the temperature's gone up by a couple of degrees, if that's what you mean," Madeleine said, dropping down gracefully to the level that Will was floating on.
She was grateful that she'd slowed down a bit - she was fast, but not that fast. Obviously, Theastrels could fly quite a bit faster than a human.
"What is this?" she asked.
Why was Will dragging her from the dorm out here to over the forest? She hoped this was important...

"No, it's not just the temperature, it's the energy. Coashea land after that big tree over there," Will pointed to a big tree. Coashea madea noise and landed softly on the ground. Will turned to see Madeleine landing just behind them.
"You ready? Ok, Terrico I want you to come inside with me, we might need light again. Coashea I want you to stay out here in case some one comes along, if they do stamp and squeal loudly, ok let's go," Will looked and Madeleine, she had a questioning look on her face.
"You'll see in a moment. Whoa, did you feel that? It felt like a power surge. It's over here!" She walked over to a clearing and it appeared just before her eye. The boulder and the smooth grey stone cave behind it.

Madeleine stopped still, feeling energy rush through her. She got the feeling that she could do anything... be anything... a high...
She looked around her, and saw that Will had gone ahead, so she stepped forward, bewildered.
Then, out of nowhere, she saw a huge, grey cave appear, just behind a clearing of open space.
Feeling the energy surge through her, she ran to catch up with Will.
