Tamika shook her head, "Nah, not really. I've heard there's a couple of other students that have it, but I never met them. I'd prefer to learn about it on my own."
Feeling the inside of Jet's jacket sleeve she slipped it off, "Here, nice and toasty."
She then also slipped off her own jacket and tied it around her waist.
"So y'know your earth power, what does that do? Can you control like, how plants and stuff grow or cause earthquakes or something?"

"All of it, if I so wish," he smirked and then without her relising it he concentrated on making the earth shake a little.
"I can grow any plant or tree from anywhere in the world here, mind you it would shift some natural orders about and also it would never survive," he ranted a bit.

"So like, can you not modify the genetics to make the plant survive in any place?" Tamika asked. She was becoming increasingly curious about his earth power as she didn't actually have any other friends with the power.

"Yours sounds way cooler. Could just spend your life growing stuff to sell it no matter the season and making a mint..."

"Ah, don't be." he waved his hand at her dismissively.
"Here, I'm going to go, I need to catch up on some homework and then figure out some mor music schizz, nice meeting you," he smiled and then used his super speed to get to his dormitory in a minute.
