... okay, no, that wasn't quite right... "Are we still talking about the same sport, here?" Jack's eyebrows rose. "Er.. y'know. There's skittles. And a ball... which you... bowl?" Old people rarely came into the equation. The Cardsdale Bowling Alley boomed with teenagers, and residents in their early twenties. It was also a family favourite. Just not... grandparent wise. Sophie's expression, however, remained quite blank, if beautiful. He tried again. "At the Alley in Cardsdale?"

... em... "Yeah," Jack nodded slowly, "er, yeah. Total change. It can be slow sometimes... it's good fun, though..." ... wait. Bowls. She'd said, 'bowls', right? Jack was startled into a burst of laughter. "Sophie! Bowling- not bowls. Haven't you ever been bowling before?"

“Yes,” Jack cocked his head, tucking a lock of celestial hair behind her ear affectionately. “They’re different. Maybe we shouldn’t bowl. Want to do something else so that… you know… you know what you’re doing before you’re going?” Quite frankly, Jack didn’t give a dámn what they did. He was just gonna be happy to be with her. … how sickening was that?

Jack's grip tightened around Sophie's waist- just about as gently as a grizzly bear's grip. That diamond spark in her eye was irresistable. "Well, I-" "JACK TROVE- GET THE HELL OUTTA' MY HALL!" Jack leaped back from Sophie in shock as though his hands had been burned. Kira was on the other side of the solid wood Assembly doors, and she was banging the hell out of them. Clearly, Spy Training hadn't been up to scratch. "8 o' clock, next Friday?" Jack mouthed weakly at Sophie, too conscious of Kira to risk another kiss. "JACK!" "Alright, alright!" Jack snapped back, then rolled his eyes at Sophie. "Spies..."
