Macy looked around, pushing back some hair that persisted to hit across her face. "Maybe not, we don't want to get stuck by lightening again. I think the rain might ease off soon." She said, looking up to the dark, cloud-ridden sky. Well, it had to stop sometime. Even though she couldn't feel the chill of it, she was sure from the looks of it, that it must have been very cold. "I really want to brush my hair." She mumbled, dragging her nails though it, attempting to make it look somewhat structured. "Oh, look!" She gasped, pointing up to the sky, beyond the school. "It's blue! Well, sort of. The rain will stop sometime soon...I hope..." Macy stepped out into the open, from the shelter of the corner. Even though it was still raining, it wasn't a heavy as earlier.

Suppressing any suspicions he had that this could very well be the eye of the storm, Lee followed Macy outwards, and jerked his thumb towards the school. At least he hoped he did. His whole hand had gone so numb, he barely had control over his digits. "Can we maybe go inside now?" he asked her weakly. If he hadn't caught something by the end of this, it would be a sodding summer miracle.

"Yeah, it'll probably be the right time. It's fun being outside during a storm, yes, but I think we've had enough weather-bashing for today." she said, laughing. She began, carefully, to head across the gardens towards the path. "Mind your feet, try not to slip.." She said, as every step she took, froze a large patch on water. She finally came out to the path, and felt the rain finally stop. "Hey, what do you say? Next time I see a storm brewing, I'lll go and find you. I'll bring the tin foil." She said, jumping in a puddle, making the splashed water freeze into a mini ice sculpture.

"I'd love to," Lee laughed, and nodded upwards. "I don't think we'll have to wait long, either. It never seems to stop raining around Orchid Hill." He jumped a puddle, and as he did so, a vision of his old wellie boots flashed before him. Those things were falling apart for years before his 10 year old self finally realised that keeping them for much longer would be pointless. Besides, they'd barely fit anymore. His mother had despaired over his ever-growing feet.
