"Well, unless you're talking to one of the teachers that think we're still in the 70's," Tamika laughed. "Their lingo must be rubbing off on me."

"Yeah, gotta agree with you on that one. Although you gotta admit, half the teachers would look kind of odd wandering around this school if it looked all modern," she grinned.

"The village is actually really rad, I love it. The book shop is a cool place to go, does nice flavored tea as well," Tamika told her. "Only probably is after like, an hour you've seen it all so it gets repetitive."

"I'm gonna be going home to Russia for the first while, then me and my mum are moving to Paris. Something about new starts," Tamika told her. Smiling as she imagined going to the Eiffel Tower when she liked and all the little coffee shops.

"You live in Paris? Seriously? What's it like there?" Tamika asked excitedly. She had never been and only had her mums description and Google searches to go on.

"Yeah, I get you. I think it's because of the british governments obsession for CCTV and plain clothes officers." Tamika decided against telling Sophie her theory about the orange and lime tic tacs. She didn't want to have someone else thinking she was crazy when she told them they were brain washing pills...

"I know! That's one thing that really winds me up, it's hardly as if a teenager is going to blow up an aeroplane! Whenever I first came over to the school I nearly missed my flight because of it. And in towns, you can't be anywhere for 5 minutes without being told to move along or something of the like."

"I think they just push it to the back of their minds because as far as the British government is concerned, all youths are yobs. Which is quite a ridiculous stereotype due to the small minority there is like that," Tamika sighed. This was the reason she stopped watching tv or reading newspapers, that was the picture both painted.
