Macy heard Jude say something about Steve, and she turned around to find Steve starting to looked around. Her heart started to race, seeing him awake. Well, almost. She ran over to him, trying to see his eyes. "Steve? Steve?" She kept asked, just trying to see his eyes. He opened them to her relief, and looked at her briefly, before closing them again. "Macy?" She heard him ask, his eyes still closed, but some colour came back to his face. "Yes, it's Macy. How are you?" She asked, realising that she was holding his hand. He groaned, and shifted on his side. He seemed to be cluthing his waist, and Macy could see a a bruise under his dirty shirt. He didn't reply, and appared so have fallen asleep, or something. She looked up to the people who were carrying his stretcher, who shrugged and continued to carry him back to the school. Macy sighed and went back to Jude. "Well, he seems okay.." She said, starting to follow them to the school.

"Y'all sure?" Jude said uncertainly, watching the stretcher. Steve had gone unconscious again; but Jude was certain he'd seen Steve's lips move... like he was talking... "Did he say anything to you?" Already, they were approaching the gates of the school. Jude lowered his voice as the SCR all came to a halt along the path. Beside them, the leaves of BlueBerg Forest rustled fervently in the wind. Jude caught his breath, feeling a chill settle in... "Mr Dorrian," Prof. Thandie said, before Macy could reply. "You go with Mr Gladwell and carry the stretcher up to the Wing. Miss Deltine, if you'd like to accompany them, you may." Jude turned apologetically to Macy, giving her back her bags, before turning around and taking one end of the stretcher from Ashwin; Mr Gladwell took the other from Jonny. "Thank you for all your help," Professor Thandie said breathlessly to both men, who shook their heads as if to say, "It was nothing!" They left, making their way down the path now, and following the way back into the winding country lanes. After all, Orchid Hill was not their territory, and they could not enter, no matter how close they came to the gates.
