... wait- what? "I didn't want... you?" Jack stared at her, suddenly lost for words; lost to every filthy, stinking insult he'd been ready to throw at her. Because she'd confused him. Really, really confused him. "I didn't want you..." he repeated, still trying to make it make sense in his head. It wouldn't work. "I didn't want you."

Oh, come on. "Yes, Jack," she said, slowly and clearly, as though talking to a small child. "You didn't want me. If you had waited for two minutes, instead of storming off, it would have happened, you just- oh, you know very well what I mean." Was this apparent confusion meant to confuse her? Because if that was the intention, it was certainly working. "But you didn't wait," she added, quietly this time, but her eyes were making it clear that by no means her anger was over with. "You turned me into a cheap skank - I forgot to thank you for that, by the way."

His eyes turned hard. "You? A skank? No, Olivia, dear- you were a cheap skank long before you ever met me. That's what she was. A cheap skank. A filthy sleeper. She wasn't worth all of this. She wasn't... "I was just an idiot not to think beyond that- not to think that I would be any different."

Smack. She hadn't meant to do it - she honestly hadn't meant to slap him. But by his saying that, he was degrading her, making her... no better than her mother. But... was she any better? Yes, Olivia, you're nowhere near as bad as she is. Don't let him get to you. He's not worth it. He wasn't worth it. He... wasn't. "Says the guy that wanted me to 'put out' on the ground in a forest," she hissed, heatedly, stepping closer to him.

He didn't even bother replying. His cheek was burning; an angry red flare; and Jack's blood was boiling. Humiliated- humiliated- she'd done that to him. More than once. And now she was blaming him? What the hell was going on in that head of hers?! Jack didn't want to watch those eyes anymore. He turned on his heel, and stormed off, without so much as a backwards glance.
