"Gotta hate it when that happens," she said, hugging her knees.

"Yeah, it sucks. I wanted to buy some more stuff when I went back but hey, I'll just have to fall in love with some other little shop."

"I don't know if you'd get anything like that in Cardsdale," Madeleine thought aloud.

"I'm sure I can find something. I did see a book shop that looked interesting, so it might be my new favorite place. Is it any good?" Tamika asked. She was a keen reader and hoped the shop would sell some books that would be of her interest.

"Yes, I love it," Madeleine answered, smiling. "It's the best place in Cardsdale. And they do really good coffee."

"Yay, somewhere to get good coffee!" Tamika grinned. "Is it busy or is it a good place to hang out and read it peace?"

"The coffee shop section can be quite busy, but they have a section where people can read, I spend a lot of time there." Going over the classics... again.

"Oh cool. I definately gotta check it out when I get a chance. Are there any other nice little places about that'd be of interest?" For some odd reason, Tamika was feeling inquizitive, "May as well find out about the place if I'm here for a bit," she thought.

Places of interest... Madeleine had lived in a lot of places, and if she was honest, Cardsdale was probably one of the least interesting places in itself. To her, it was interesting - but only because of what happened in it. "Not really, unless you're like me and like fountains and things. For the Hallowe'een party soon, there's the dressmaker's... and the pub is pretty sweet... other than that... well, it's an interesting place, but only because of what happens in it," she said, apologetically.

Tamika raised her eyebrow in interest, "A dressmakers? I'll have to pop in sometime, I love little places like that." She had to admit, hearing that things happening made it interesting disappointed her a little. After her old neighborhood, she loathed eventful places. But Carsdale was a nice little place, so maybe it wouldn't be eventful like home.

Tamika looked at Madeleine and thought for a moment. "You'd make a cool Morticia Adams, or Françoise Hardy or something..."
