"Nice," said Kira appreciatively, watching the golden glow travel across Will's arm, knitting her wounds together. Now there was a power that could actually make a difference. There was a power that meant something- and not just in war terms either. There was a power she could've used for... for... For what? What difference could it have possibly made to Aunt Black? Funny she should think of her now... then again, perhaps it was not so funny. Her aunt had been a Warrior- but she'd had the heart of a Carer. How her mother ever came to be one, she would never know. She looked at Will and Anton now, and saw two people with hearts spilling over love, and warmth. Her mother was nothing like that. Did she really hate her? Kira could never tell what she felt for her mother. All she knew was that it was nothing like the love she had for her father; or her aunt; or Lee... Well, he was untouchable. That goes without saying. "What sorts of things can you heal?" she asked tentatively. "Like... terminal diseases? Disabilities? Or are you limited to cuts and burns?"

Will and Anoton both looked at her. "I don't know but we're not limited to cuts and burns, I think we might be able to cure some diseases but not terminal ones. But it might work if all the carers were together, there might be enough power?" Will looked at Anton as the suggestion came out of her mouth. "Yeah, it might work if all of us were together but, it would rain us of our powers far too quickly so we might only be able to save one person with a terminal illness. It could take weeks or months before we are fully recouperated!" Anton explained. Will studied Kira for a moment. "I know someone in your family died of a tragic illness but-" she stopped dead a sudden idea coming to her. "But?" Anton asked. "We might...could we...no ones ever done it before. Anton go to the library and bring back all the books on carers and resurrection for animals you can find. Go, please?" Anotn hurried out of the hospital wing. "Kira, I'm going to try and find a way of bringing back the dead...but don't tell anyone please?" she said seriously.

((Well, she didn't quite die from a tragic illness- but I can totally work with that! ;D ))
Kira felt a sudden, strange squirm in her stomach. "You're working on a way to... bring back the dead?" It was a horrible, horrible suggestion- on Will's word visions erupted before Kira's eyes of corpses crawling up the streets of Cardsdale; like zombies, groaning and moaning, entrails in tow. How anyone could even suggest... It was un-natural. It wasn't right. You couldn't... you couldn't pull these people out of... Paradise or... or... But hadn't she long since come to the conclusion there was nowhere to go after you closed your eyes, and lapsed into the eternal sleep? That was it- blackness... but you'd never know it was blackness, because you were dead. Gone. Forever. And yet... Everyone that'd people had ever lost. Everyone that'd ever been loved by those around it... could come back. On one side of the coin, it truly was a horrific picture. But on another... on another it was beautiful. I'd seen Aunt Black again... "How?" The question was out of her mouth before she could stop it.

Will saw the horrified look on Kira's face. She didn't know how to react to it. "How?" "How? Well I don't know how do I? That's why I sent Anton for those books and I don't know if it will even work but I'm going to try.Trust me, some part of me is terrified,horrified...all the fieds even but then again another part of me is yearning for it," Will sighed and started to think. "I know what it's like to have lost someone you care most about in all the world...I saw my mum commit suicide when I was six and I saw my dad get shot when I was nine. I never really got over it and I never will. But I want them back and I want to know them better than I did, and I know some part of you is yearning for your aunt..." she was surprised by what she had just said. How do I know it was her aunt it could be anyone. She was so surprised she didn't really hear what Kira said next.

"How'd you know about my aunt?" Kira said in a hushed voice. Will didn't look like she was listening. A hundred emotions were flitting across her face. Was she struggling with the idea of it too? She must be. But... but she was right. That yearning... "How'd you know about my aunt?" Kira repeated, slightly louder this time. She might as well get answers.

"I...I...Idon't know," Will answered her emotions racing. All the possibilities...All the damge they could do. "Kira if I can pull this off...think of all the possiblities and all the damage we could do to the enemy! We could bring back my mum and dad and your aunt ...the endless war could be ended. It could be a backlash on the enemy and the politics...oh the politics." she stopped wondering in amazement of the damage inflicted upon the enemy. She liked when they came up with brilliant ideas. It made her feel....well.....powerful. She liked the senseation and the mind boggling ideas it came up with. She turned attention back to Kira whose face had many expressions packed into one. "Well? what do you think?"

Kira could already hear the reaction of the crowds raging and racketing around her skull. "You're not God!" "You have no right!" "Get out here!" "Give it up!" "Down with Orchid!" "DOWN WITH ORCHID!" Ouch. Loud. Will was right... this whole 'ressurrection' thing... If it worked, it would totally revolutionise the world they lived in. It was... it was crazy to even think of what people would say- what they would do... No doubt politics demanded that they attack it. Orchid Hill would be condemned again and again. Of course, there would always be those faithfuls out there, who would be beside Orchid through thick and thin- God bless them. But they'd be targets. But they could be revived. It truly was a dangerous weapon. What would the enemy do to get it though? Terrible things, no doubt. And if they did get it... She shuddered. She didn't want to think about that. And yet... "This'll have to be a giant secret, you know that?" Kira laughed shakily.

"Yes, I do realise that. But it might not work and yet it may." Will sighed. "Do you think I'm dreamin' or stupid for having this idea. It could open all different kinds of new doors and openings!" she thought out loud.

Kira smiled weakly. "Maybe just a little bit of both..." At that moment, there was a crashing behind her, and Anton appeared, looking a little puffed out.

"Thanks." she smiled at Kira. The doors of the hospital crashed open and Anton came in with a pile of books. "Jeebus, you didn't have to come back with the whole library!" she stated. "I didn't but, I found the best books on our group and resurrection." he thumped the books down on the table in front of her bed. "Watch it.." Will said angrily. "Sorry hunny," he retorted. "It's ok just don't do it again and don't call me hunny. I hate it..." the reason why she actually hated that word was because her mum and dad called her it a lot when she was younger and she had a problem with people calling her it.

Kira eyed them both warily. There was a pause. "Well?!"

"Well?!" "Oh right...erm, Anton pass me that one in the middle please," he handed it over to her."Right, what am I looking for....ah here it is." she opened at a page do with what carers could actually heal. "It says here that one carer healed somebody from a terminal disease..." she got her hopes up but they fell straight down again. "What?" Anton leaned in and read what she was reading, "Oh.." "Yeah, it says here that they got the diease themselves and died no less than a day later."

"Hey, em... Will, sudden thought..." Kira chewed her lip for a few seconds, then pressed forward. "When people come back, what'd they be like?"

"Hmm..." Will looked at Kira lost in thought at this question. Mumified corpse...zombie..normal? "I have no idea what so ever!" she concluded. She looked over at Anton and he shrugged. "And nor does he..." she answered for him.

"It's just that," she continued, a little uneasily, "what if they didn't come back right?" There was a pause- eerily silent as she watched them both warily, unsure of their reaction. When no-one spoke, she pressed forward, with a slight sense of desperation. "I mean," she added quickly, feeling a little sick. "What if... I dunno'... the afterlife does something to you? You remember it... and it's twisted your mind and... argh..."
