Macy sighed, looking out the window. The sky was grey and heavy, and the grounds seemed deserted. "I guess. But you don't know what I did; sometimes, I don't even know what I did. I didn't even do it. Augh, but it dosen't matter, anyway." She said, not really wanting to get into the topic of her cold-blooded alter-ego/sister. "I don't know.." She said, again. "Are, um, you going home for Christmas?" She asked, changing the subject. Hopefully, Madeleine wouldn't mind.

She took the hint. "I haven't really decided yet. I mean, I haven't seen my grandmother since the start of July, it'd be nice to see her again - but I don't really have an obligation to go home to my parents, seeing as they left less than a month ago... I know they'd like it though. Are you?"

Macy nodded, running her fingers though her hair. "Yeah, but I'm not looking forward to it. Well, I do like seeing my mum, but I don't know if there will be another guy, she's saying that 'is really nice, you know. You'll like him.'" She said, rolling her eyes. "And I'll see all my old friends, which will be weird. Well, not friends, but classmates, I suppose. I think, that they think, that I went to some boarding school, because I was so smart." She laughed. "Are you going to be here for the formal?" She asked, stroking Gypsy, who had jumped down on her lap, in the form of a cat.

Madeleine reflected on what Macy had said, before answering, "If I go, it'll be on the train at five the next morning - so yeah, I'll be at the formal," she added, with a laugh. "I'll sleep on the train."
